Anybody know how this will work? I have tried to add contacts, yet it doesnt work. Do I need the latest version of msn? B)

You need to enter the test, then download the latest version of WLMessenger. Your contacts must also register in the test and have the latest version of YMessenger! You need to register due to this being still some kind of BETA system...
Anyways, I'm registered... But I don't use it much :)

You also need the yahoo contact to have singed upf or the beta testing and to dl the latest version of the yahoo beta which allows u to talk to msn contacts
