If I was to hypothetically put some boiled liver in a bottle of absinthe... Would the liver start to soak up the alcohol in the same way worms do in tequila?
or would it just sit and grow rotten?

Only wanting to leave it in for a week or so...

Planning to have edible liver and drinkable alcohol, albeit both tasting horrible...
I won't poison people with it?

Or would I be better soaking the liver in the absinthe, and THEN cooking it? Or even boiling the liver IN alcohol?

Google brings up nothing...

Bloop your kind-of a freak..... Please don't change.

I don't want to know what it is for but, from a food safety aspect, cook the liver first then put it in the alcohol. You will then need to store this abomination in the refrigerator until you use if for your nefarious purposes.

No point cooking it after soaking it as you will boil off all the alcohol.
I thought absinthe was illegal as it makes you go nuts.
Post us a bottle bloops - no liver please.

^ It is basically marijiuana beer (at least from what I have heard). You can buy it in swizterland vending machines in chocolate form, actually. Man, if there was ever a way to get high :P

Bloop, I know what you mean. A lot of stuff comes to me while I am about to go to bed. Like, who thought "huh, I am going to take htis leaf, roll it up in this other leaf, light it on fire, suck on it, and see what happens..."

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

Actually I think it is a spirit distilled from wormwood.
I might be wrong, but too tired to google it.

^ Aye. Try it at home. Drink until you see Green Fairies flying around you.

Ok Bloop, only a barbarian would do such a thing, or perhaps an Englishman. Is it real absinthe? (Spanish, Czeck?).Chopped liver? Did you think of that AFTER you drank the bottle, or DURING? ;)

The idea is that it IS disgusting... It's for a halloween bike race I'm organising.

...and it's a Scotsman not and Englishman.

Getting ingredients tommorow, so I'll post up a photo of the result

^ yeah, and it is also illegal to import into the united states. And in SW, they add some THC to it, not weed. My bad. I have only ever had a little bit of it, but dang... It has some kick. %)
