I wouldn't :)
Even if my computer "poofed" today (wich is NOT Windows fault... I think the fan was a bit crazy, wich made the computer not start correctly and created a power surge, maybe because it cut a wire or something blowing up the fuses) I wouldnt switch it for anything ;)
Sure, I could install Debian ALONGSIDE Windows, but I woulodnt want to either. I had another version of linux intalled alongside windows and formatting linux messed up the HD boot, wich made me format and reinstall windows.
PS: I just hope the HD ain't fried. If it is I lost 13 years of work :) (a bit over 1 year of TT only thou)
Heck, Windows for me is great!
Sure, Windows has lots of spyware, viruses, worms, malware, keyloggers, etc. But if you KNOW how to get rid of those, it's like any other ordinary system without the disadvantages! :)
So what if people say "Windowz blows!". I'm ok with my Windows. :)

Yes, but that's exactly how I thought when I used windows. I thought it was great! Ofcourse I had no idea that mac or linux had come to be! I think that I saw a apple G4 at my freinds house, and loved it's style and graphic capabilties. Amazing job by far. It wasn't untill I bought my current system (iMac G5, dual processor and I don't know the rest). I started out just blissfully unaware of things that had to do with it, not knowing the shortcuts, different applications, and really what was so special besides it style. After starting to do some intense scripting for things, research and all, it got so easy and simple, I began to love it! It's more simple to use, and not hard to learn to use. After learning both systems, apple computers are just so easy to use and well set up! I would never go back to windows, but linux might be worth a try.
Windowz blowz (you can count that as a definite "yes").
I love my randylion
BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XO

If you had a chance to format/delete/erase your Windows partition (after backing up all your important files) and install Debian on it instead (and promptly restore the files), would you? Why?
NOTE: WINDOWS WOULD BE ERASED TO FREE UP SOME SPACE FOR DEBIAN. Assume your disk's full.
Current results:
Yes: 2 (w00t Bolo!)
No: 2
Not only would I, but I did. Sure, Windows is more compatible, but after a week in Ubuntu, I discovered just how little that matters. So buh-bye Windows, hello Debian (not anymore! Dang WNIC support) and Damn Small Linux.
