I have experience in 3d modelling, but not in blender. I used it for a conference slideshow intro before (if I find the.mov file I'll post it :) ) as a freelance job, but that was before I had max...
I believe it uses simply polygonal modelling, unlike max that uses splinal.
Try making some simple shapes with it, and try morphing them, I'm not really sure how to make "game quality" stuff from it. XD

Oh I dont want "game quality" shapes I just want a solid sphere for the area affect. I know how to put solid 3d objects on the page but I dont know wat to save it as. Wen I go into the "export" it doesnt have the.dts option. It has (in order) VRML 1.0, DXF, Videoscape, STL, AC3D (.as), Cal3D Exporter V0.7, DirectX (x), DirectX8 (.x), LightWave (.Iwo), Motion Capture (.bvh), Nendo (.ndo), Object File Format (.off), Radiosity (.radio), Raw Triangle (.raw), TrueSpace (.cob), VRML 2.0 (.wrl), VideoScape with Vertex Colours (.obj), Wavefront (.obj), Wings3D (.wings).

Man, I hope that wasnt too much to read! :)
those are all the export options I have.

Umm, Nathan, you told me once (in my mod) that it took a "shitload of scripts" to export from blender to a.dts file... I want to know too, where can you get these scripts? Who could we ask? How can we find out? Is there another free mac compatible 3D shape thingy that exports.dts files floating around? If you don't know, could you send us both some cheap PC boxes and milkshape? ;)

Use Python, and download the scripts to somewhere, I'm not sure what else. I'm just learning how to use it.

And I think I am going to be buying MilkShape soon.....

You need to install the exporter, which really is a "shitload of scripts". You'll also need to install Python.

Oh, and get your exporters here . Frankly, everyone should BOOKMARK that link. XD

Nathan, umm, if I am being an idiot, sorry, but which link on the page? It's not that obvious which one is needed... Or do you have to get all the ones for Blender? Oh, and Cmake? How do you run it?
