Chapter One: The Scenario

Here is your troubles. You have made 12 mods, and you want more. But you can't! Or can you? Sure you can. Here, I will help you to create a 13th mis file that can be ran as a dedicated server or cycled. (I will cover that in a later edition)

Here is what we will be using for this tutorial:

1.mis file (Name: test.mis((note, it's NOT a TT#_# mis. You can name it whatever you want))

Here is how we will do it!

Chapter Two: Actually doing it

Step One: Place your newly named mis file into your missions folder. Name it anything. For this tutorial, we will use test.mis

Step Two: Go into your ThinkTanks installation folder. Then, go into the dedicated folder. AHH! You may say. Lots of gibberish there, isn't there? Don't worry. We won't be doing much scripting.

Step Three: Right click on any of the files except the INI file, and choose copy. Paste it into that folder. Rename it using the following format: (For ease of use) ---> *name of mis file**game type* (Game type is B battlemode, S scrum, TS team scrum, or TB team battle.) Here is an example for you: testTS (This is test.mis, and this dedicated server will be Team Scrum)

Step Four: Scripting time! Yay! This is only a couple words though. Right click on that file you just renamed and choose edit. Notepad should pop up. Change the path (game/data/missions/something.mis) to point to your new mis file.

Where it says -something change it to either -S -TS -B or -TB for Scrum, Team Scrum, Battlemode, Or Team battlemode.

Step Five: Save.

Step Six: Double click on it, and a dedicated server window will pop up. Congratulations, you have created a thirteenth mis file, ready for the world to play!

If you want to make one for all of the modes, simply repeat the steps over and over untill you have four of the same level, one for every mode. I'm still working on cycling more than 12, or more than the default, but I feel close to getting it.

Also, for the lazy type, you can add shortcuts to these in your start menu under "Launch Dedicated Server"/your folder.

I use this so I can have all my mods AND the default levels.

If you want your mods to be included when the map cycles, name them like the current levels are named. For example, if you made a lush level name it TT1_5.mis. The next MOD you make name it TT1_6.mis, and so on.

Make sure you have 5, 6, 7, and 8 before you make a 9. If there is a gap, it will only see the levels up to the gap. For example: with TT1_4, TT1_5, TT1_7, & TT1_8. Since there is no 6, the TT1_5 will be the last level it sees.

Then the levels will show up in the standard launch server screen. And they will be included if you launch a dedicated server that cycles the maps.

You all are gonna fly out to heop set this thing up right? I am guessing I should have been in those folders the whole time considering how easy you all make it seem.

Nice one 56K. Just got back from vacation, and I see you have found an easier way than mine...... So many useless shortcuts.
