In are milkyway there is black hole wich cant be seen. Saw it on one of those learning channles. It seems that once u go in it your gone? How is this possable? They say anything that gets suck in is gone for ever but how??? Its a black hole with no end on the other side? And the other side its just a hole how is this possable?? This hurts my head a little. Wat are in them??

It is so big, we humans can not even grasp the concept. Infinity, you know the side-ways eight. I myself only give humans another 1000 years, maybe. Our luck has run out, couple million years is too long. We're overdue for somehting drastic to happen to us: asteroid, earthquake, or other biological phenomenon. My mom thinks it's the end of the world now, ever since 911. Terrorist attacks, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanos...

Nobody knows for sure what the end of the universe looks like, or if there even is an end. However, my theory is that it goes on forever, but you'll eventually stop seeing stars and planets and stuff. But don't take this as a definate answer.

There are just some things you will never know. It's easier to make your amends with it now, so you don't end up ripping your hair out later in life.

Ahh, the apocolypse. That's a warm and fuzzy subject. In fact, I enjoy talking about THAT more than I do the universe. Talking about the universe makes me feel insignificant. :)

This is good
most of the stuff we "know" about the universe and whatever it contains is theory...
based off of observation, but no real hands on experiance
but then we do know other things concrete, like what planets are, how they form, stars, etc

I like your theory nathan, kinda makes me wonder
all the galaxies and stuff we can see, what if it is a part of one big galaxy, everything all in one place perspectively
and this galaxy is in one big universe...

If that doesnt give you goose bumps or a headache
try imagining nothing existing at all!

I think your wong about being in one unervise like I said I heard it someone about end unervise just have a wall of black holes were u cant go any feather wall gose DOWn forever and up forever and if u go side ways after a while you will see a nuther wall. Side track here - but on the same topic - ie gravity / spacetime.

Check out Gravity Probe B on google - this satelite has been in orbit collecting data for over a year now and just about to finish.
It is designed to investigate how the earth "drags" space and time around with it as it rotates.
Black holes do this but on a much more massive scale.

The probe has four gyroscopes which are the most prefectly round objects ever made by man.
They are the size of a golf ball - but if you expanded their size to the size of the earth the largest hill would be 3 foot high.

Data collected from this experiment might throw more light on how massive objects effect space and time.

Firefly - sorry if this seems insulting, but you're asking unanswerable questions. I understand that you want to know how the universe works, but nobody will never know for sure.

In fact, even knowing what the universe IS is too much knowledge for one being. Perhaps it was designed in a way that we will never know.

Once inside the black hole the radiation and time altering parts of it stops the victim from escaping and the radiations destroys all types of materials around it

inward to its source (like a red giant star) causing
the star to implode or colaps, like a reverse

With the reverse big bang it could create a sub
universe, which completes a circle of creation.

In this theory there could be infinit of sub universes
all connected by black holes or (inverted light) in a
black hole there is no time and no speed in which I
think you could travel faster than the speed of light.

But thats just a guess.

I think someone mention we wont know maybe in
a 1000 years from now, but never give up thinking
about it, if we would give up on aksing why, we will
never know....

I belive part of the theroy about how stars created most of the elements we have, a star can amke every single element we know before it colapses, or when it goes supernova
