This error is usually a graphics driver issue. Update to the latest version from your graphics card manufacturer.
Ok sorry for not giving the info on PC, so here it is. Make: HP, WIN: XP PRO, CPU speed: 633mhz, RAM: 382.48 mb, Hard drive: 15 Gb W/ 1.96 Gb available, Video card: Intel R 82810 W/ 32mb mem. I know this is not the best pc at this time, but it will have to work for now. The video card is internal and ive tried to update with no luck. Not sure how much a new card would cost but if it would make a diffrence (and I know it will) I need to get one if you think it will help. Also what kind would you suggest. Thanks, SEABASS
Yikes.. Onbaord video is not good.. Everything else looks fine.. Machine seems slow for XP Pro.. Think that you would have performance problems just opening files.
I would get a new video card. You can go with a geforce 4mx.. But I would suggest, at the very least, you get a geforce 2mx.. You can probably find one for under $20 nowadays.. And it will make a BIG difference.

Not as slow as mine, it's a Pentium II 400 MHz, and I can barely start it up without it crashing. :[ But hey, it runs the game at least...at about 5 FPS, but still, it runs the game.
Someday, my parents will let me buy a computer.

Ok thanks guys I'll go get me a video card and put an end to the error message. Thanks for the tips. SEABASS
Hi, I've got the same problem with the same message, but I am running think tanks on a windows xp machine, with the geforce 4mx with most updated driver, AND until I loaded Silent Hunter II on my computer, think tanks ran fine. I tried rolling the driver back but this had no effect. I also uninstalled the think tanks game I bought from real arcade and downloaded, and bought again, the game from bravetree. Still get the same message, with an offer to send an error report to windows. Message says tt.exe has had a problem, if you were in the middle of anything, you may lose your information. At least that is how I remember it. Any ideas?
Uh
If y'all are considering a new video card or need to upgrade your hard drive space
^^^Eek need 15% free to defrag
I would NOT put money in an old machine

I have been trying to get TT to work on my PC at home and im having no luck. As most of you know I play during the day when im on lunch break or when I can get time at work. When the game gets installed on my pc at home it trys to launch then it will go black then back to windows. Ive tried updating my driver and still has the same affect. Once it goes black and goes back to windows the error message says, TT.exe has caused an error in exe and needs to close. Please will someone HELP me its getting old. I would like to be able to play at home, not just work on my breaks. Thanks, SEABASS
