Thanks to everyone who nominated moderators in the other thread, I've made a selection, for better or for worse. I don't expect everyone to approve of every choice that was made, however I have spoken with all of the new mods and I believe that they have the communities best interest in mind. With regards to the choices, no amount of complaining, fact finding, or smear campaigning will change the status of these mods. They all have a chance to prove themselves worthy and I am confident that they will, they care about this community and want to help make it great. Anyway, without any further ado... Here they are

Yes, congratulations to the newly appointed team of moderators.

I as well would like to know (or at least see the presence of the "clean-up") but how will this be done? Will they as it was previously stated be edited? Or will there be a post replaced by a post stating Tank name here your post has been deleted for the following reason/s?

Just curious, as I like too see the machine in action so-to-speak.

The moderator job is an easy one:

As part of the new moderation duties, the moderators will be trying to cut down on the noise by actively discouraging meaningless one liner posts (like the one above this one) that just clog the page when I come to view the recent posts. Try to keep the one liners to a minimum please.

That's true, I will be doing that.

NOT because I want to CENSOR anyone who just says 'hello', or an honest 'LOL'....I really wish that stuff was OK (and I hope someday it WILL be OK, and I am gonna try to help that 'someday' happen)

Rather, because THIS FORUM COSTS MONEY.

REAL money, out of the paycheck of a guy who is _NOT_ wealthy.

The people who PAY to keep this site on the net are NOT living large; they are WORKING people like me, who wait for a SALE at the grocers to buy their family's favorite foods....

Dan is DIRECTLY paying for this place, and whatever CONTRIBUTIONS we send him are helping A BIT...

Well, from the very FEW eyewitness accounts that we have concerning the White CHRIST...I don't think he would have wasted time EDITING a post which was truly DISTASTEFUL in his sight.....

@The new moderators: First of all, I would like to congratulate, some of you I have seen around whilst trying to find mods to do my job as a Mod Reviewer.Those that I don't know, I can only hope that you will do a good job.
