Hello all, it's Niko... I was thinking that it would be great to be able to somehow pass the scrum ball in TS. Like... You press a button, "P," for example, or whatever... Should be changeable in preferences, and the scrum will slide a certain distance over the terrain in front of you... Not at such a high speed that it just flies, but enough that you have time to get in the way and catch / intercept the pass.

I don't know... Just one of my mind's many wanderings... Maybe someone will do something about it, dunno.

That sounds scriptable surely...

Not that I would know

To be precise..... I think it would be more appropriate to use the "D" key and call it "drop" the scrum.

I like the idea.

OR.....we could have another little set of keys.....like since WASD (or arrow keys) controls tank movement, we could assign IJKL to toss the scrum a little to the front, left, right, or back. B) but first, we would have to have the drop feature, lol :P

I love my randylion

Sounds cool and can be more challenging for both sides.....But is it possible!?

56K Lag Man once posted a list with all things what they wanted to add later to TT, including the released ignore script. On the list there was a script that they wanted to make to press P to PASS the scrum. Altho it never got finished..

Since I use a laptop, and always have, I play w/ the arrow keys for tank movement, and trackpad for aiming, so I would like if the keys for "release" were changeable. For example, I would actually use the WASD keys for my scrum "droppage."... Ehe, I think it'd be fun.
