Im sorta in between.
Cause I like the action of TBM but my skill is more in Scrum and teams.

Started in TBM, Hated Scrum. I now find myself ooking for Scrum games first and BM'n if I can't find a good scrum game. Will probably eventually convert to Scrum but retain BM for honing the shot accuracy... Who knows. Just seems to be more action scrum and it's not limited to just shooting tanks. Far more stratagy in scrum, At least I think so.

When I first bought the only thing I played was CTF....for a long time....

HATED bm. Thought scrum was the gayest thing ever

Then went to scrum and got average....then team scrum and got average....

Then got jangles and tanky to show me some tricks.....then had MONTHS off work to play 24/7

Was all about indie then....sometimes teams

After 3on3 champs were declared im all about team scrum...

Right when TBML 2 started I got into the team bm thing....

Now I love them all...and am equally good at them all...now it depends on the players in the server and if I want to play on the phone or not :)

Never cared for survivor or indie bm much. Perhaps if I could ever find REAL players that are GOOD and not bots and kiddies I might change my mind.

Started in BM...no me gusta. Then played a ton of CTF and TBM. HATED indy scrum....HATED IT!!! In TBML ran around alot saying "muahaha." Realized people didn't like getting owned so cut back on the "muahaha."

Played TBML Season 2.0, liked it. Kept hearing random scrummers talkin' smack about us BMers, how we suck, etc. Bad move...Prof decides to see what all this TS is all about and learn them scrummers a thang er two. Realizes indy scrum is otay too.

I now prefer TS to TBM...more maturity and humor. Strategies used in pick-up games implemented in leagues. TBM does not seem to be that way. Long live the scrum (but I'll bm the hell outta ya)!

I like "Target Practice" most. It's so calm and peaceful. Suits me well.. 8o

On the other hand, I think BM/TBM has been the best starting place for me. I think I'll stand a better chance in Scrum, being hatched and bred in the BM domain, rather than the other way around. Although, I guess Scrum will be it for me sooner or later.

There seems to be these kinds of "praxis" in Scrum, not to BM too much in there. If only I'd find the patience not to shoot people being "off-scrum". It's still so darn funny to hunt some booty.. :P

^ in team scrum you can BM all you want. In solo scrum, you CAN BM all you want, but you will be BMed back. That's why the BMing is somewhat tempered in solo scrum...it would just turn into BM instead of scrum. Fun would diminish drastically. But you still gotta be able to shoot to scrum :)

For regular play I prefer Team Scrum. Although, in my opinion nothing can beat the TBM league for fun. Psycho Scrum league is great but there is still a bit too much luck involved for my liking. In the TBM league it's man on man with some good strategy thrown in. PSL has the same but the 5 or so free goals each game diminishes the fun somewhat and puts TBM league far in front for me.

Maybe someday I'll be able to return to both leagues once I get over baby fever.

I feel that the leagues have made a holistic experience for me in TBM. For quite a while I just went into pick-up games and ran around without direction shooting anything that moved. Well ok I shot shit that didn't matter, rocks, tree, even killing myself with area effect. Man it was fun, but after a while I felt like even though we are on teams people would wait until you wear someone down and then some in and take the kill. This is your team mate, it’s all about the numbers, and people don't acknowledge the support they get from the rest of the team.

All the while I hated the damn Scrum game. I mean, someone passes gas on this side of the map and I lose the scrum. WTF? Then we all pile up near the goal and just ram into each other. Not for me man. I tried again a couple of months later, driving a little better, still only getting 1 or 2 goals a game. Ah it's OK. Tried again hey this aint so bad, I think I’m starting to understand this a little better. Watched the Psychscrum features by Reagent X and said, Yup this is it!! There's action, teamwork, luck, the Mods are unparalleled, and the script addition are great. I know many of the people in Scrum leagues are in TBM as well but as a whole it appears the scrum community is more involved with their games and league. There are some irritants just as in TBM, but mostly in public servers. The admins keep the private servers very clean. I find myself initially looking for scrum games when I launch the game. Slowly moving towards scrum but really enjoy the TBM League Games, not so much the pick-up games anymore.

Short (and slightly off-topic) question. Do I have to host in order to get that HeliCAM™ working? Or can I just go in and watch, say, a scrum game being a HeliCAM™? I would love to get a glimpse of the ins & outs of scrum, only watching.
