So use heavy's to a limited degree then if it fails then use mediums and shoot the hell out of the enemy!!

I use a heavy. I can pretty much handle any tank one on one. So, I get in the middle of combat, to mix it up with any tank. BUT, the last couple of games, the lights on the other side used me as a easy kill. Two on one, to kill a heavy. I have seen MI5 fight, using a laid back approach. Hide, move, and wait for the battle come to him. At the right moment step in and get a kill, and go back to hide and seek. He is not an easy kill. I rush in trying to kill everything, and wind up dead. When is the best time to hide and seek? When is the best time to head on? Any thoughts? I would like to hear from other heavys. I go head on all the time XD
But what would probably be smartest would be to pick out lighties on the edge of the fight. That way you won't get mobbed.
I appreciate the help Player36. I have tried it in practice, it works! I better understand the whole concept of hanging around the edges of the fight. It's breaks the circle of rush in to get a kill, get killed. Respectfully, Major Bummer

There's two things you must remember about the heavy: It's slow as a snail, but it packs a punch. If you see a stray tank, go kill it. If you deem yourself good enough to charge into a group of your opponents, go for it. But always remember, there's no running away with a heavy, so make sure you have the skill to take on the group, and have your team backing you up.
Where I went wrong, I was depending on the punishment a heavy could take. I need to be more cautious, and protect myself better. Stay on the edge of the fight, hide and seek, pick out a stray and kill it. When attacking a group, have your team members supporting you. Boy, I learned the hard way, with the lights and mediums circling behind me for a mob kill. I appreciate the time and effort. I have seen Player36 and Jedirieb on the field, you are both excellent fighters. Someday, I hope to fight with your level of skill. Respectfully, Major Bummer

Heavy's have the best firepower on non-modded servers and the best armor but they do have flaws they suffer from low manuverability and poor turning time but, they are very affectice coz they're firepower and armor makes up for the flaws in the tank.
