FINALLY! I have been confusedededed on that thing for almost half a year now! ::bows::
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
Alright, I made my own objects with milkshape, and loaded them into here, hoping I could get some kind of jpeg file. I just want to make a skin for my custom object, how would I go about doing this? Is this the program to use? :o
Woot! The showtool rocks!
Little late but when I'm on the load DTS step nothing is in the box that I can select
^ put it in your content folder (probably just your show tool folder)
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
Nice skin ;)

Torque Show Tool Pro is a tool for developers and modders alike which shows DTS object files and is very useful for skinning.
Click the big DEMO button here, it's $35, but it has a 30 day trial. Mac and Windows only (I want a Linux version! :'( )
Anyway, on to the tutorial.
Here is the interface. I am using the windows version but the mac one shouldn't be any different. :
Look in the upper left corner for a button labeled 'Project Directory.' Click it. :
Once that is clicked, there will be a menu that pops down. Click 'Modify.' :
This box should pop up. Click 'Add Directory.' :
After you clicked that, click the arrow. :
This directory 'tree' box should pop up. Navagate to where you installed ThinkTanks, then go to game/data/shapes/. Then click 'OK' :
Once that box dissapears, click 'OK.'
Click 'Load DTS.' :
In the pop up box, scroll down until you find tank01.dts in the game/data/shapes/tanks/ directory. Once you do, click 'Load.' :
You can also do tank02.dts (Medium), tank03.dts (Heavy), tank04.dts (Big Boss), or tank05.dts (Little Boss).
There it is! Yay! Now for a better look, you can turn off the lighting by pressing the lightbulb button highlighted in red. :
Looks better doesn't it? :

Good job! Now have a look around the tank. Left clicking on the tank and dragging rotates it, and using the scroll wheel zooms in and out.
Now go figure out what everything else does!
