Hey all,

I was just fidgeting around on my computer when I found my old ThinkTanks folder and remembered my aid (at least I hope it was) to the TT community. I came over here and looked in the skinning sections to find a lack of major templates. I thought it would help out new skinners if they had the templates, so after a half hour's work here they are: Link!!!

I wasn't really sure which skins people would want templates for, so I'm willing to make one for anyone who asks me - :) I hope I helped someone with this - if not then, I tried!

So...what do you do with them? There are too many colors to directly select all of them.

They're essentially the layout of the tank - should I make them all monocolor (white or another color, without the lines) - supposing that would help? The colors are there to indicate how much light is on them, if the light is directly over them - they take about 1 minute to make if I dont have the shape ready, bout 10 seconds if I do ;)

PS - The scrum doesnt have the flag in there because of the way the shape is set up - I'll fix that soon.

Jaj Jr, I wouldn't change them! They're great!

I downloaded them and I can see how the lines follow the contour of the tank and that can be very useful. I'm going to want to use them to try to create some new details that I've never really considered before. I'm not sure they're for noobs though. You may want to make a set without the lines and make each tank part a different, solid color. That way the new guys can see how the different parts fit together.

Hey Jaj, whats up man? Come play few games online sometimes! :) It would surely be fun. Good job with that stuff even thought im too dumb to realise what they are exactly used for. Lol

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I was thinking of doing rabban's idea next, just for the tanks. I was just having fun so they're just a draft. I'll be on after I finish the "part templates" :) Have fun!

EDIT: Racer - BT posted these before? I wasn't exactly.... Around when these came out then. I use a *secret* method for getting the templates accurate ;)

LOL Jaj.

Yeah, BT posted these on the GarageGames Forums a long time ago. I still have the Light, Medium, and Heavy skin templates. Good job on keeping these for us to see.

Ah I think I have seen a different version of this once by wingman. He used only black and white style, only tanks.
