When I read through the army forum, I find that many experienced player are calling new armies noob armies. In my personal opinion, I feel that it is not good to say that. I mean, these guys have the courage to start an army, it should be something that the experienced players are happy about, and not saying " *Sign* Another noob army to add to the list" etc. Why not encourage them more?

This is probably why so many newbies leave PTT and TT and why many newbies have became irritating and started spamming and cursing at experienced players.I mean they have their rights to start an army, and if we give them more encouragement, they will also learn to respect us. As the saying goes,"one's respect deserves another", if we respect the newbies more, they will learn to respect us too. :)

I must congradulate Kamikaze. That took a lot of courage, I feel. I guess I never really looked at it from that point of view.... I've always figure that they just wanted to have an army and be on top and thought they could pull it off in one night. Though now reading what you said, I'm gonna go with you. I remember when Ozzy started his army, it was tough, according to him, and it takes a lot of work. Maybe if we start like a Army resource?? You know that posts about what kinds of standards the armys should have. Also a section that houses the old armys, and maybe even like a schedual, that tell who's fighting who next?? Just purely a thought, but thanks Kamikaze, you've changed my opinion about newer armys. ;)

I agree all the way with you both. However, the problem is not the noob armies themselves, but it is the amount of them out there now, and there are alot.

Yeah, counting D5 theres at least 8...
... And yes I consider my army a n00b army because we have only been around for 3 months and have no war expierience. Then again, that may be because some of the armies that consider themselves veterans are too lazy to actually do anything but post (as I have asked 3 separate armies to date for some practice time, and they never reply to my request).

So if I started an army would that be classed as a newb army?

What do you class as a newb army?

I see both points of view here, but I have to agree with what Racer said before about saying what he actually means and not automatically congratulating n00bs. I'll try not to call any armies n00b armies, but I will say what I want to.

Thanks guys XD

I also feel that instead of grumbling that there are so many noob armies, why dun the experienced players help and make them into great armies? Wouldn it be nice to have more great armies coming up so that we can learn from each other? ;)
