Hi all,
OK, I just realized that I am coming up on my two year anniversary for playing Think Tanks!!!
I purchased the game on April 25th 2003.

The best $29 I ever spent.

Also kinda makes me feel like I need to get a social life in the real world... Lol.

Was it $29? I thought I paid $19 for it. Regardless, I agree this really has been the most entertaining venture for the money I have ever seen. The amazing part to me is the depth of the game, meaning the skins, scripts, the realism (for the most part) of the environmental factors like speed velocity, gravity, collision force impacts. It's truly amazing what you get for that small amount of money.

Oh ya, you also get turned on to a very unique community in which intelligent conversations take place in between the quitting, bitching, and cursing.

Hold on I have to go announce some shocking thread.......

Damn I have nothing. Maybe later. Somebody answer that door!!

2 years? That's like 60 years old in Game Years! Well, I guess that's okay. I am still playing PacMac and Joust, after all.

@napalm: They drop the price as time goes on.

I have this irrational fear that Think Tanks will be like Myth 2 from Bungie: an exceptional game with a long life that they ruined with the next version (Myth 3), at which point it quickly died and nothing has taken its place. :S

Just over a year for me. Its been fun!

PacMan Rocks.

We subscribed to a group called 'FreeCycle,' where you can post a Wanted noticed or an Offered notice and you can get (or get rid of) some great stuff on there, and all for free! We recently posted a Wanted notice about old gaming systems, we got people who offered us an Atari 2600, Nintendo (dunno what kind), Sony PS1, and a second Nintendo, we are taking a Nintendo, the 2600, and the PS1. Talk about a good deal!

Atari 2600! I loved to play 2-player Combat with my friend. We'd usually play Ricochet tanks. Heh, how's that for a precursor to ThinkTanks with the bounce-back power-up! ;)

K8, you and I must have purchased TT right around the same time. My GarageGames receipt has a date of April 26, 2003 on it. I played for about 1 or 2 days in demo mode (not online) before I purchased.
It's without a doubt the best money I've ever spent on a game. I recall it being $20 not $29, but whatever. $20, $29, hell even if it was $49 like most games out there now, it would have been well worth it.

Here's hoping BraveTree has a nice 2 year birthday gift for all the faithful. (You know what I mean) :)

I started as a demo in March 2004, so I've been playing over 9 months going on 10.
However, if you total the amount of time that I've actually played as Paisano then I've only really played several weeks. :)
Just kidding... It has been the best ROI (Return On Investment) ever!!!
