Please make sure you have the latest driver installed for you video card. 9 time out of 10, this is the reason for most problems.
My wife's old laptop looks like that. Runs windows XP, but the video card just can't handle it.
Got any more info we can use to help you?

I suggest you get a better video card. 64mg just doesn't cut it.
If not... Your going to "taste the rainbow" in ThinkTanks. :P

I have the same problem on my laptop. But on mine, everything is white, and you cannot read the text because it is blurry.
S3 Savage 4 32mb- Latest Driver
P3 900mhz
128 total system memory
Or you could have replaced a texture in the green folder...
