I agree. One of the reasons I acctually bought the game is because other players (non-demos) were BMing me to death and said that they would stop if I bought the game! Arrgg! Please people, patience and tolerance is the key to good living! (No idea where I got that from)

@ chilled I have the same problem now, kinda. PEOPLE please shut up!!! I am getting the game from my step-ssiter in two weeks ok so SHUT UP!!!!!! Leave me alone just becasue I have been a demo doesn't require for you to say BUY THE GAME!!! Over and over agin to me. Its non of you business what I do. So just shut up!!. But they don't bm me for it.

@ Racer: I can't do that. I will bm them if they have been seen for over a week on TT. But other wise they aren't to good at camping so they are easy to fool. ;)

Guys bullying just makes more bullying. It will never stop if people use that procedure. These people that make bad remarks are DIFFERENT people. Meaning that not all people are a bunch of trash.

I have nothing wrong with newbs and demos, so long as they play the game respectfully and are willing to learn not to camp and such.

And I'm sorry but I BM vets who camp, not just newbs. No discrimination.

Every Single DEMO I have met (besides Ozzy) have been rude and just plain immature. So don't blame me if I was one of those people that you or die met.

Ozzy,is the only "nice" DEMO I have met.

Oh, I've seen quite alot of 'respectable' demos. Anyway, I have never said "Oh look, it's a weak little demo! Let's make fun of it! DEMOS SUCK!!! HaHaHaHa!". I've honestly seen TT players say that. That's really disrespectful. I'm willing to bet that alot of demos have decided not to buy the game because of this rude behavior. I think that maybe the chat feature should be turned off for DEMOs, like in the Child-safe filter.

Ok, Racer I have deleted my post that had nothing to do with the topic. I must state that ok shenna, I am sorry I must have miss-underestood what you said. Really this time there is no lie my step-sister is buying me the game. I am not going to use the one you bought me.

OK, now that the topic is back, I was one of the people that racer was bm'd by.

I agree that we all would benefit from a degree of common courtesy. I try to extend it to all players who don't try to ruin the game for others.

When I was playing as a DEMO, I listened to what the players told me. I learned that camping was frowned on, and started running around in scrum and having a blast. I knew I needed to learn the TT culture and adapted. Some players were even kind enough to give me a tip now and then, and I learned a lot. Observing good players helps, too. I'm not a great player, but I love this game.

"You" was camping. The game I had just left had one of the more infamous pain in the neck players in it, and really lowered the TT experience by camping, bm'ing, and flaming. I didn't want "You" to do the same. I told him not to camp, and informed him that it was frowned on pretty generally. I also didn't believe he was new, and he kept going on about how rude everyone was. No one was chatting back to him but me.

"You" was begging for permission to camp. I have never seen a newbie do that. No DEMOs either. I assumed he wasn't as advertised, and treated him like someone trying to ruin the game. I did what I could to keep him out of the goal area.

Sorry to say, but your disguise didn't work. I'm more than happy to help new players and wish more people would.

I am wondering, though, if this is an example of how jerks can taint all our experiences with TT. That's sad.

TT is the best tank game I've seen since the old Mac game, Bolo. (and my LGM is a reference to that game.)
