Hi all
As some of you know I have been rotating the maps at Roos ScruMODz
Every week I change out the missions
Drawing from a pool of 70 approved roo mods
Also I have been peppering in Dash - Triv - Napalm and CB mods for additional variety
I even have a chart to insure that missions will not become boring
After running a map for the week you wont see it again for 2 months

NOTE:
1. All these maps can be found in the 2 Reagent X MOD PACKS
2. Many have Napalms XPACK4 elements (skies - objects)
3. PRELOADING will get you instant access = no waiting

I dont mind downloaders but it silly to do so
Some of these take 15 minutes to download in game
Take fo example Buccaneer Bay
there are 2 houses, a church, a cross, tombstones, a wall, a ladder, a boat, green logs, rocks and a sky
Plus the map

PRELOAD for INSTANT ACCESS
or wait
and wait
and wait

How about having a TBM server based on the same format?

But then it wouldnt be "Roos ScruMODz" as they are scrum maps

@Stan/Player: Basically what ^ said, it couldn't be "Roos ScruMODS" without the scrum. I guess BMers are gonna have to go without for now, or try switching to scrum... XD

^^ That's the problem though, they're not TBM mods, they're scrum mods, made for scrum. Besides, there's already two good TBM servers, no need for a third.

No offense meant to Leopard, but his server is pretty laggy. I like Dash Bash, but there's hardly ever anyone there. And these servers are running (for the most part) really old maps. Not that they're bad maps, I think they're some of the best ever made, but some variation would be nice.

Well I used to run a TBM server called Roosters Realms
and did so for my first year playing TT

The euro guys loved it because of my location and connection (T3)
I suppose I could run it weekdays 5am eastern to 5pm
Then switch to the laptop in the evenings
All the maps I made are either / or (good for scrum or tbm)
In other words I made them with definitive sides - split along the gate
Approximately 16 - 20 spawns each and generally plenty of cover

Well, it would be nice to have a good server, with a variety of maps and with people on it. As we speak, the 2 main TBM servers have been deserted.
- The laggy lair (mainly because it alllows more players than it can handle) with badly scripted bots that never go down
- Dash Bash with several players having problems getting in because of some maps.
Modded maps, why not. Some great maps have been made (some real bad ones too). Just have to pick the right ones :)

I will look to TBML maps from previous tourneys
Select a 4 map rotation and try to maintain full time presence
As best possible.........
I dont intend to run 2 dedicated from the same machine
And I use this one for other endeavors
Also I cant leave my laptop on 24/7

We'll see how it goes
