To all animators -

I am looking into purchasing an animation software, but have no idea which are good and bad. Can you all please state the name of the Animation Software you are using, then post an animation you have made with it?

Thanks

Ask -z-.
Better yet, make a multilayer image in GIMP, then save it as a GIF. It asks you whether you want it as an anim.

Better yet,

Lol... I think not, Maya was used to make Shrek, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Happily N'Ever After, The Phantom Menace, The Mummy and lots of other Major Movies. 3ds max was used to make Unreal Tournament, thats about as good as it gets.

(made with a video camera and some frame grabbing software so long ago I don't remember the name of it.)

That's Flash. Buy Flash here. But look at the price tag first. XD

These animations won't be featuring any real people from video cameras and such, they will all by hand drawn or images off the net. The example I gave above was flash, and that's the kind of animation I will be doing. Is flash the best option for me?

Heh, don't worry about budget for me.

Not sayin I'm rich, but when I am into something I will work at it.

Thanks a ton for all your help! Although I didn't see any free trial demos on that page you showed me, DJ :[

I will be posting my first work of art as soon as I am finished.

Thanks again,

Tank
