Racist? I think you misread the term crazy. My neighbor calls me crazy, but it is because I crack him up.

Actually, I have to agree with Big Papa, they are crazy. Ever seen SushiTV? Its a compilation of a bunch of wacky Japanese TV shows. If you think "Fear Factor" is nuts, you ain't seen nothin' yet. %)

And the ping pong clip was pretty cool and funny.

I guess the issue with racism would mainly be logistics. Funny links; phrasing of the thread title is a little suspect. Maybe next time you could say: "Yo, these clips from Japan are off the chizzain." Or perhaps, "Nizzles you have got to checkizzle these clipizzles. They are straight out Trippin' in Japan, yo."

Less confusion about the content, and doesn't lump the whole culture into "crazy". Try not to generalize a people use more description to make your point.

All true, but give the guy a break. He generalized. We all do. My japanese neighbors (when I lived in japan) generalized about americans, not in a negative way, but just by way of making observations. They said we were outgoing, easy to talk to. Some also observed that americans were fat in general. I didn't hold it against them. My generalization on japanese people that I share when asked is that they are reserved, helpful, friendly especially to foreigners, sometimes a little too reserved, in general really NOT crazy at all. In fact, they strive to not stand out. Kinda conformists. But there are some people doing some pretty wacky, hilarious things....what do you expect? 127 million people stuck on a rock the size of california....it follows.

The human mind seeks organizing principals...it generalizes. He could have been more specific in his language...but, in this case, he wasn't trying to degrade anyone...everyone is so damn sensitive!
