Great job, KKB! I especially like the donation of furniture to help some refugees get sheltered XD
I made a donation, started a thread here to encourage others to, and my daughter is making cookies to sell, with the money going to hurricane relief. Also the kids in my class are donating to the effort. Every little bit helps!
^ Thanks, and good on you too! XD Tell those kids to keep it up. Maybe we will try something else next week...
I spent the last 3 weekends working in a temporary relief center, organizing boxes, getting them ready to ship, etc
Wow, Keep it up. I went all around the neighboorhood last week to collect! Got a bundle.

As some of you may know, I used to live in New Orleans, and though its kind of sad to know that I might never go back or even have relatively the same lifestyle if I do go back, it's good to know that there are people all over, even from the ThinkTanks community helping out with this catastrophe. Keep up the good work!
Now here is something to brag about!! My kids set up a pop/lemonaid stand at the entrance of our neighborhood this saturday and raised over $200 dollars with about $60 worth of pop and ice. All proceeds are (including original investment of $60) being mailed to the Red Cross this Monday. People were handing them money without taking any pop! Kentucky is one awesome state!!
Also my family owns some furniture stores. We are filling two houses in Cincinnati with bedrooms and mattresses that are being rehabbed to accomodate some hurricane victims!! We also have sent several mattress sets down south!! I'm not a gloater, but when it comes to this I can only say one thing...YEEEEEHAW!!
What have you done!?! Let us know!! KKB
That is totally awesome KKB! I am so happy to see others so quick to give and be so happy about doing so! This week, me and my family opened our pocket books and donated $80 to relief efforts through the Red Cross :) ! Very happy we did, too!

Well Cloud, I am "legally" homeless, because my house is uninhabitable. I am staying with family for at least a year away from N.O. School is cancelled for the rest of the year there, so I am going to school here. Eventually I want to go back, especially since I havn't been able to contact quite a few of the people I care about, e.g. Personal friends, family friends, etc. Until then, I'll just have to deal with being new to everything.
PIP, I had a friend named "Misunderstood". He lives in new orleans. Thats his tt name. Ever heard of him?

I vaguely remember seeing him in game once or twice, other than that, no.
Oh, ok thanks
