Well, Saint jimmy and I are going to build a space ship and escape the earth with a bunch of our friends and family. We may also include some designated ppl to keep the human race alive in space. :P
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
@pgg,
May also include some designated ppl to keep the human race alive in space
Just make sure you bring that "special someone".
:P
Only lethal on days that end with "Y"
Who cares about money, just learn how to survive in the wilderness.
This world today is based on money. If we all just stop caring about money, this world will probably go into another depression. I say that becuase if we do just stop the money business, what would ppl do? Money gives ppl reason to work. Fuels our lives and motivates us.
Now if we all lived in wilderness, things seem to be ok. More wildlife = better planet. But what about our intelligence? If we did live in the wilderness, there would be less schools because some teachers may still wanna teach even w/o pay. But less and less students would come.
My 1.27250 cents XD
Lol we should prob start thinking about the future, but knowing human beings and how stupid we can be... I dont think many people r going to start to worry till its either too l8 or when it truely starts to affect people. People today are more worried about the moment and now with what is going on in the world. We also are obsessed with money and material things which isnt all bad, but can create a problem of us not worrying about the future. They would rather be comfortable right now since they'll probably be dead when the problems come up and wouldnt care since it doesnt really affect them.
Just my lil 2-cents
^ But now we have the technology and weapons to incinerate the earth.
I don't think we'll all die. But many may want to in the bleak future that I live in fear of. I am worried that the quality of life for the majority of people will become intolerable and that only the very rich will be able to live comfortably (ie have potable water, food, a place to live that's not underwater or poisonously polluted,etc.). There is already not enough wilderness left for us all to go and live in it even if we could. The money system is here to stay and like it or not suddenly removing it would probably result in massive suffering since we are all so dependant on it. But the system causes massive suffering now and it's only getting worse as "free trade" makes the rich richer and the poor poorer and makes environmental protections meaningless and...
I had better stop I'm depressing myself.
Let me just finish with my only somewhat tongue-in-cheek vision of our old age: digging in the polluted ground for roots and grubs while wondering if it would be kinder to drown our mutant offspring.
Yeah, yeah, lighten up Hem!
I'm trying to. Really I am.

@woohoo,
Maybe I exaggerated, but most ppl wouldn't work where they do if it wasn't for pay. Now if we all lived in wilderness (which has yet been told to me what you actually mean, examples would help, like forests, plains, etc.) few would be motivated to work and would take life as is.
@Player
We have technology to do so, but we don't even need it, we are already doing it already.
@Hem
Your future is very dark indeed. You do have a point too when you say "the system causes massive suffering now and it's only getting worse as "free trade" makes the rich richer and the poor poorer and makes environmental protections meaningless and..."
Actually, I do believe we have about 26 more than any other country. Altho, if anyone would like to correct me, plz do.
What I meant by "We have technology to do so, but we don't even need it, we are already doing it already." is that all of us are already killing the earth. Cars use only 15% of everything you put in it. Gas, oil, the battery, etc. And pollutes, as you all should know. Why do we not stop this? Cuz we are to dang lazy if you ask me.
We dont stop this because the crack atick I mean bush keeps sending solgers over there and I dont think they want to hurt us they just want us to leave how would u fell if they were on the our streets 24/7 I dont blame them there probably scared.

XD XD god made us we will go to be juged to see who gos to hell and who gos to heaven and you live happly or badly days dont cry to me of you go to hell but you can fix that by going to church then you go to heaven XD XD
It will be a shame of you do go to hell :[ :[ :[ :[ :[
One post please. ;) two posts when there should be only one is considered spamming...
Thinktanks: $20 New Mouse: $15 Winning an indy scrum game: Priceless
^ You know, that is coming more from an Islam point of view. And BTW, god made a period button, too... Use it.
And here is the part I don't get uberchristianguy: If god is going to judge us all, how can all our sins be forgiven. Basically, you are saying if some idiot goes out and kills a bunch of people, visits a church, and gets all his sins forgiven, he will go to heaven, but when some poor afircan child who doesn't even know what a church is goes to hell because he was too poor to go to church in the first place. Why does this seem wierd. Remember, the bible may be the word of Gos, but humans wrote it down.
Now, going back to the whole "end o da world" thisg. The US by far has the most nukes. And I don't care what you say, we did get rid of 10,000 warheads in under two months. It just doesn't happen. That would require us to dismantle aproximently seven nukes AN HOUR in a top secret underground bunker that is far away from any civilization for 60 days. Well, it would be more like 57, actally, but oh well. I still say we have a couple of those titans sitting around.
@UFO- We aren't really worried about the "terrorists". Bush botched up and admitted they really didn't have any WMD's. It is Iran, and Russia, and Korea, and Israel, and China, and everty other nuclear superpower in the world. Get this threough your puny heads:
IF ONE NUKE IS LAUNCHED FORM ANYWHERE, THE WORLD WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE A VERY BIG NUCLEAR WINTER
If one nuke is launched, it is almost certain at least two more will go. If two more go, another will go. This is only, of course, if the first country whgo lauched it does not launch more than one. Some of the bigger countries have to power to incapacitate an entire nation with one blow. Bad.
So, like I said. SJ and I are going to Mars. Anyone want to pitch in funds?
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
It is often said tha t th reason the dinosaurs went extinct was mnostly due to their complete lack of a space program.
Unless we can colonize Mars in the next 100,000-500,000 years, our odds are pretty slim.

Sorta scary to think about isnt
Page : <1> :
What or Who created us? It doesn't matter I guess... But if we want that our children, grandchildren to survive here, then we'll have to think about HOW to survive further, and not about 'Who|What Created Us?'
World will be un-live-able in between this, and 2000 years.
