Page : <1> :

I have created a zip file of TGE with the Mod_Pack and Expansion_Pack already installed.

Remember there are still some general guidelines to follow.

Never use anything that resides in a Demo folder.
Add only shaped form the static shapes folder and from within the static shapes folder.
If you open an already known working mod and do a save as you more likey to have a working mod at the end.

MAC
Unzip the package.

WINDOWS
Unzip the package.
Launch the Launch.bat located inside TGEwXpack1.0Torque Game Engine Demodemo
follow the usual instruction for modding from there.

LINUX Coming Soon
You'll have to figure out your own path to launch the app as the terminal is syntax specific

For specifics see the DAMN Moddingn resource.

I will updtae these when XPack 2.0 comes out as well.

If you want I can shove this all into an installer for Windows. I can also make an installer for XPack 2.0.

There's no need for an installer for this but the additions for Xpack 2 would be nice.

Ok the same problem accurs when I try and load medulla mesa and freudian flats and such...

Here is exactly what I do

First I downloaded the windows TGEwXpack1.0 DL u have up there

Then I open it up, and click on the little window thing that says tourque game engine demo, or something. It looks like a mini-window screen, with blue on top with the minimize and X sign and stuff.

When I clicked that, it says if I want to extract files, I say yes

Then once I extracted I go to the game/data/missions folder and copy the missions to demo/game/data/missions and paste them.

Then I go to the mini TGE icon to start tge up. I go to the fps multiplayer and load that thing

After I hit F11 and open mission. I go to TT_1.mis or whatever, but once it loads it re-directs me to the main page. [ I had the pic in my TGE Help thread]

It constantly happens and I cant load freud flats and stuff... All I can go it new mission and it comes up with the FPS.multiplayer map

This always happens idk why, but if I could get a little help [even though this has been going on for 5days] it would be gr8

Forget the stock maps. Use one of the others to base your map off of.

If you having issues IM me tonight or tomorrow and I'll get you going.

What about the TT auto installer?

Well get there. This is just for TGE, no need to worry about shapes an dskins here.

TT XPack auto installer can be found Here at my site (39mb)

Note that you must find your TT directory with the "..." button, then you must go to the game folder then select the data folder and click OK. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

I'm downloading now, I'm gonna start modding right away. I think you should provide a pack that only has what we're downloading extra napalm. That way people who understand the stuff well enough to mix some things up can (like me). Ofcourse I haven't seen how you put it, so I'll check it out. I could probably work with it, but great job, keep up the great work!

You can always pick and choose what you want to install. The expansion pack is available "stand alone" also. This is for those who don't want to have to install any files.

I will have the same set up for Xpack2, complete packages, and the xpack2 "stand alone."

You may do with it, whatever you like. :) Mix em up!
