Max, have you tested any of the additional BB codes here? I wonder if some of them work but were never listed?

Yes, more, please![/hr]
We surely need more codes to here. Also the forum should allow some letters, which dosen't work eg. The slash which is falling to left.
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
It would appear most of those bottom codes don't work here, like the code boxes and movement.

@ OM - the only one that seemed to work, that is not on the ZBB Codes list, is "code"
"codebox" or "sql", would be great for code text.
"html" or "strike" would be good for placing html or overriding the BB codes.
"color=red" and "size=18" would be great for the modding resource.
Marquee would just be fun.
But of course "color" and "size" can be abused by jerks.
But hey we have an army of moderators.
Moderators can this be done?
Max, 56k Lagman is the geekiest (it's a compliment in this context! :P ) guy around, and the only one aside from DanMacDonald who has access to this site and can do whatever changes to its core. Talk to him.
I'm sure it *could* be done, but these things have a tendency to get more complicated than you first imagine. So I don't think it will be top on my priority list anytime soon. :(
In the meantime though, for the modding resource, you could use images as headers.
Hmmm....
How are you doing that box thing?

@56k Lag Man - I am less interested in having flashy colorful annoying text as I am more interested in posting CODE.
We can't post CODE without it getting reformatted. I was just hoping there was something that we could do about it. That's all.
specifically "codebox"
@ Kristoffer - Im not sure what you are referring to?
I am mostly interested in fixing the inability to post code in the forum without it getting reformatted.
What is childish and amateur
(note: correct spelling) about that?
Yes. As I already stated ^. I realize it is inevitable for the childish and amateur to abuse many of the BB codes.
At this point I just want people to be able to make code boxes where the code does not get reformatted.
Also lets say I wanted to explain to Mr Big Show how to make a code box without having to trick it.
There is a BB code to override the the BB code.
@Mr Big Show - Bracket and unbracket the word "code" like you would use "quote"
But I can't type code (text) /code with brackets to show you.
MAX
Just trying to help...
Ahh... Yes code blocks that don't delete double spaces would be useful. I may look into it more.
The `tt` blocks have the same problem....
datablock TankData(HeavySkullTank : HeavyTank)
{
shapeFile = "~/data/shapes/tanks/tank06.dts";
brainShapeFile = "~/data/shapes/tanks/brainjar03.dts";
};
PS: Just fixed the 'code' tags so they don't turn to html when you edit your post. Spaces are still being removed though....

Page : <1> :
I was wanting to figure out how to override the ZBB codes
. So I could show the text containing ZBB Code text. Such as html or img. Also wanting to be able to put code in forums without it getting reformatted.
So I did a search for ZBB Codes...no luck. But then I just typed BB Codes, suspicious of ~z~ adding Z to things. Things went much better.
"BB" stands for "Bulletin Board";
BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. Whether you can actually use BBCode in your posts on the forum is determined by the administrator. In addition, you can disable BBCode on a per post basis via the posting form. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML: tags are enclosed in square braces [ and ] rather than < and > and it offers greater control over what and how something is displayed. Depending on the template you are using you may find adding BBCode to your posts is made much easier through a clickable interface above the message area on the posting form. Even with this you may find the following guide useful.
phpBBCode's
This is a site showing most of the BB Codes possible.
Can we get some more BBCodes for this forum. Please!
