A tip, don't hire anyone who asks to be an admin. Most likely they just want to use admin powers on their own good.

There was a complete display of poor sportsmanship & abuse of powers tonight in Chief's server. I have taken matters into my own hands and for those of you that were in that game ! If it was you, you should be ashamed of your self ! I know for a fact it was some one on the blue team. You guys had us beat by a large spread and to abuse the powers to prevent us from getting that last goal was complete BS. The pass code will be change by tonight and only a select few will have this time. Until I find out who it was any of you on that was on the blue team come into a server that I have Admin. To you will be banned until this matter is straighten out ! Then that person will be added to every person who host banned list ! XO

^ it was more then once it was none stop ! Thats not how Chief wants his pass used. How do think KBC, RX, Dash, BC, Nuts or Rooster would feel if this would of happened in there server while they were there ? Better yet have that happen in Scrum League. Like I said matter has been delt with !

I was not there,so I couldn't have nuked. And I wouldn't abuse it.

Annnnnnd,as LONE may have learned when deleting my post about chief's pass (It's not what you guys think). There is a good chance that someone could have guessed the pass.

Lone, if the problem is being dealt with, I don't see any sense in getting angry about it. The guilty will suffer, the innocent will play another game of scrum. Does a game of scrum really impact a person that much? Sure, keyboards break, mouses are thrown, but we all know that it is just a game, and as long as there will BE a result in the near future, there is 'no sense crying over spilled milk'.

I know who used the nuke. It was all in good fun, I only died twice from it - both in the last ten seconds
im sure the perpatrator was not being malicious, we just wanted a fun game

Its not a matter of getting upset it was a pure abuse of powers and I find it funny they had us by a lot but yet the second we were going to score the last goal (not that it would of matter due to spread) in game is when all this happened. So yes it was a show of poor sportsmanship !

Did you not feel it was a good fun game ? How did that make it fun ? How would you have felt if you were on the green team. Busting your ass at the last couple of seconds, to clear the goal ,steal the scrum and right as you are about to score they nuked all ? B)

Wow - I need to get back to playing more at night. I have no idea who dropped the nuke - it's kinda funny that most of the players in the server had the pass.

That being said - pass has been changed. And as a nod to Legs, anyone guessing it will: #1 find it isn't that obvious and #2 will be deep into the dictionary when they guess it....so at least they might learn something in the process.

EDIT: As a matter of fact, I'll even give you a hint: it's a city in Italy. If you believe that one, contact me offline as I have some cheap property for sale east of Miami.

A piece of advice.....the responsibility of an admin isn't taken lightly by those who host the dedicated servers. Every one of us have taken the time and dedicated the resources to provide somewhat of a safe haven from the trolls and the general "pains-in-the ass." It is my opinion that the best way to become an admin is setup your own server and be the ruler of your own domain. :)

Question for PTT Admins.
I know that admins can see deleted posts, but do they see edited posts too?

Example if I first post someting, but I want to delete it. But what if I first edit it to a few dots and then delete it? Do they see the original post too or only the dots?

OK, silly question, but what the heck is a "nuke"? (as it relates to TT of course)

The admin utilities have a functionality that kills all tanks. For instance if you wanted to start a game and needed all tanks to be fully healthy you could nuke them all rather than have everyone dive and re-spawn.

Useful once in a while.

Thanks. That's what I assumed it was, but I wanted to be sure. For a moment, I thought ti was some new weapon I wasn't aware of, although I guess in a way it is.

Some admins go as far as nuking like crazy for their enjoyment.

I don't believe that's by any respectable admin. I have only seen it small rinky dink private server where people are experiencing it with mods.

I have only seen this used twice in all of the servers I have been in in the last year and a half.

Pretty rare that anyone uses it.

If you get mad while playing this game you'd better take a good look at yourself - there's a problem somewhere.
