I myself hit gym four times per week. I try to go run two times per week, but more often I skip it, because I haven't recovered good enough from my gym workout.

You?

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Hmm I used to run on my treadmill quite often, but not any more. Now I usually just use weights. Perhaps I should start going on my treadmill again, but then again I wanna gain some weight cuz my metabolism is a bit too high/fast.

Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 7:23:09 PM

During summer I skate two to three times per week, but during the school year, I normally go four. I also ride my bike quite often, and play airsoft.

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

I pole vault 5 times a week competitively. If you can think of a better workout than that, I will give you a cookie. Actually, better yet think of a muscle you don't use when pole vaulting. I still haven't thought of one after 7 months.

Who says you have to lose weight? T'wasn't the question. I'm over 6 feet tall, and I weigh a wee 126 pounds. Still exercising!

Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 9:25:07 PM

I admit it, I'm a weakling. I'm 13 and can only press around 105. On the other hand I'm on a swim team and LOVE to swim. I dont lift much only when I go to my dad's his appartment's got a pretty nice work-out room. :)

Only lethal on days that end with "Y"

Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 10:20:09 PM

Cool!

Dj your story sounds little bit familiar to mine! I feel like I have a high metabolism too. I have always been naturally thin, but I am going to big. Takes few years, but I got the time! %)

Hi Triv, Yes I exercise 5 times a week and run 5 miles 3 times a week.Plus I try to get on the golf course once or twicea week.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 4:55:24 AM

Gyms are horrible oppressive places for people who don't like exercising, to exercise... Rack up a couple of hundred miles a week on the bike

40 minutes a day on the bike, 5 to 7 miles each.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 5:33:52 AM

I do circuit training now 3x a week. We go for about 40 minutes, doing supersets and cardio training. I get my heart rate up to around 160-170 for the majority of the workout. I also golf 2x a week in the summer, and I walk it pansies. Handicap is around 12 lately. I have no outdoor wintertime activities as of yet. I keep waiting for ice fishing to somehow be high impact, but I don't see it happening.

Uh oh. I'm 15 pounds underweight. Oh well, better than the alternative. Are you fat?

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 9:26:05 AM

I need to gain weight- I'm ~25lbs under!

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 10:07:02 AM

Dont have a car, have to walk/bike everywhere.

Campers should be impaled, roasted over a fire, all hairs plucked out, and set on fire.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 10:49:22 AM

Hmm. I am excatly where I am supposed to be.

@Sersh- Being able to press that much is decently impressive. I can only press about 60. Of course, I can also lift a girl over my head while using steak knives to move around over the ice. Figure skating- the sport of the insane.

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 11:09:04 AM

I've been a weightlifter most of my life. I still manage to go to the gym about 2-3 times per week.
I also chase my 3 kids around and do lots of yard work around the house. XD

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 11:17:53 AM

I exercised once, way back. It felt really good. Been looking for it everywhere. I'll try google.

Kids

I advice you not to lift, or benchpress. It stunts your growth.

Workout like hell when you've met your peak height.

Anyone have any tips on how to increase your Body Mass Index?

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 1:54:54 PM

Most people tend to try to lower their BMI, as it is a sign of being overweight. Assuming you know this and are trying to bulk up muscle, workouts of high weight/low reps, cut back on the cardio some, and look into weight gaining supplements/shakes at the health store. Ab workouts are crucial if you're on the weight gainers though, trust me!

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 2:16:21 PM

Three, you disapointed me... I was expecting some witty remark....alas..

Once again youve shut me out... Open the frigging door!!

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 2:30:06 PM

Three is currently unavailable due to the fact he apparently slept with Mother Hangover last night and - like most women he has coerced into bed - disappointed her. Evidently she has retaliated by conjuring up a midget to follow him around while repeatedly striking him on the head with a ball peen hammer. Three sends his deepest regrets.......

STOP SPREADING LIES!
Doing weightlifting may actually even help your growth(look for researches)

If you start up doing weightlifting. Be sure that your posture is correct on all movements that way you won't get hurted.

If you want to gain body mass(I guess you're talking about quality muscle mass?) Work on heavy weights and (6)8-15 reps per set that builds muscle mass. 1-6 reps work more on power. Eat more calories than you use -> you gain weight.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 3:40:06 PM

I do almost all sport and swin 4 hours a days<--- got a pool XD

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 3:59:30 PM

BMI = Gaining height and weight in an equal form as to making it look even

Basically, growing up and out without looking fat or musclular.

Triv more researchers beleive it can stunt your growth. Go ahead, train your kid to be the next Rocky at an early age. If you are right then you have proved me wrong.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 4:01:22 PM

Its funny,

I use to roll out of bed and run five miles a day...

Now I take three laps around the track and almost
die...

So if I exercise I run the risk of killing myself, and
If I dont exercise I will eventually die.

Hmmm.

What to do?

Baseball is my main workout. I'm only 13 years young, 5'9", only 115 lbs, and I got a 75mph fastball %).

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

Competetive lawn mowing is all the rage in my neck of the woods.

Wednesday, August 02, 2006 at 12:18:17 PM
