That looks like a real map for heavy-lovers and snipers hehe. Nice screengrabs!

It is fun, but I wish that the barricks were a little more organized? Like a better defined line? Also some trees are good shelter, five or six on the green would be a little more fun (even if less realistic...)
Add a little thing off to the side where all the powerups and reload gates are. Makes it so you need to leave the battle if you want to power up!
Add a another Parachute drop please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Duke Nukem XD B) B) :P :P :) :) :) :) :) :P :P :P B) B) B) 8o 8o 8o 8o 8o 8o 8o
Having played a fair few games on it, its actually a fun map to play - though would I feel require players to swap teams each game to be fair.
The bounce pads arrow launch works nicely, and there are a few nice routes to break in to the top enclosure.

By popular demand, click here to download the Omaha Beach MOD. If you have trouble getting the file, email me @ lc50tank@yahoo.com .
The Omaha Beach MOD is a simple mod of Medulla Mesa, with a German fortress (Green team) being attacked by Allies (Blue team). There’s no beach/water per se, but the concept is similar: a well-sheltered force with a commanding field position being attacked by a force with no/little cover.
Blue team spawns out in the middle of the plain, with minimal cover approaching the enemy base. If they loaf too long, they become easy targets for the green team sniper positions in the fortress. Powerups are scattered through map, but green team has the best access to them within their own base.
There are only two openings in which to enter the base, although there are a number of ways out for green team light tanks, which can hop the barriers if they ramp off the edge of the hill. The third way into the base is the most fun: a jump pad/arrow pad device in the middle of the map that launches tanks behind enemy lines into the base (parachute drop!). This adds the element of surprise, but can be deadly if green team is set up in the correct position.
This mod takes Team Battlemode to a more organized level; a little more strategy and team coordination is necessary. It’s been fun to design, and a bunch of us battlemoders have had a good time with it lately. Thanks to –z- for the ModWizard (see planetthinktanks.com), which was used to easily build this mod.
Some pics of the fun:
Landing in the allied (blue) drop zone. Yes, it’s meant to be a little chaotic and points you in the wrong direction on purpose! This pic is after turning around; view of german (green) base on the hill.
Approaching the “parachute jump” pad . You have to hit the pad just right (slowly) for it to work properly. It’s easy to get it right, but the slow maneuvering makes you an easy target while approaching the pad.
Parachute drop, mid-air: DEATH FROM ABOVE! Grabbing an area-effect powerup and “bombing” the Germans from the air is great fun.
Sniper-nest position. Hit the allies hard and fast from these points as they approach across the open terrain.
Have fun,
LC50
