No problem. You did a good job with it! You should consider a sequel, perhaps?

Call it The Return of the Ping?

Show how a hobbit named slughog started to build and host his own server and customized mods...

How the gnome named Tally Ho created a scrum league...and how the evil dragon named Hanksta wreaked havoc on the tt community as anonymous...or so everyone thought! Then include the beautiful princess tankgirl who drove into town (backwards, of course) to sprinkle her fairy dust and make all of us dwarves happy again.

Something like that...

Maybe not.

I had wrote a long part of the story, then it said I wasn't logged it and it said that the thread wasn't here! Then I lost my post!

That took AN HOUR to write!

Dang, racer, that's too bad. Computers can be really irritating. Whenever I write really long posts I always do it in a text editor first so I can save as I go, and then I copypaste into the posting box.

Hmmm... Maybe I'll write a sequel... Take some work to incorporate though. No guarantees XD

If anyone else feels up to writing a sequel or companion story, go ahead. I won't copyright it unless I think I can scrape some money out of it ;)

My part was about Zogglis, The god of Modding. XD

Friday, June 11, 2004 at 11:22:05 AM

@Racer

What about Zogglis' maniacal intern named Michael© or his arch rival, Repent©?

They have an unholy aliance with the mission to develop mods that will corrupt the minds of youthful TT players, trying to lure them to the dark side. And what not...
