What sky are you trying to use? Are you sure you have the right file path?

Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 7:21:11 PM

Wait, I think I gave you the wrong instructions; it's this:

Once you open a mission in TGE:
1. Press ALT + Q.
2. Right click and drag down.
3. Press and hold S until you can see the map.

I got through that part........Isaved the map as Vig1.mis and I saved it it as TT1_4.mis And then after I created the server, All I could see was blue.

Maybe you spawned under the terrain. That's my only hypothesis right now. Try lowering the terrain height in TGE to see if that helps.

Man, you always come in my time of need.......Doesn't it get annoying :P ? Ill try what you said.......Can you create spawn points in TGE? 8o

Y dont you try just deleting it and starting over or using modwizard and commiting suicide?

yes im a girl and yes this is my anime crush

Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 5:47:21 PM

Because when you commit suicide, you spawn again, which would put him in the same place because there are no spawn points.

Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 6:03:58 PM

The paths to your terrain textures aren't right. Make sure you have all of them and the paths in the TT folder are identical to the paths in the TGE folder.

Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 3:24:13 AM

S the terrain file path should be game/data/terrains?

Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 3:51:16 AM

It should be game/data/terrains/<Rest of file path depending on what folders your terrain textures are in>.

Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 1:43:29 PM

Oh, so game/data/terrains wusn't specific right...thnx mon(again and agian)

Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 1:54:35 PM

@Gen vig what map did you start with because you cannot use a TT original map
The ground doesnt show and it looks like your floating
Try the arena or a dash or a rooster map

@blitzer the skin you used in TGE isnt in TT
The data folder in both MUST BE THE SAME!!!
The big F you see is the default TT skin telling you that the skin you chose is missing
Make sure both TGE and TT have the same contents in data/shapes and data/terrains

I think it's DB3.

Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 2:43:13 PM

Oh thanx Roo, that really was helpful of ya. ;)

Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 4:48:59 PM

Ok General Vig
all of dashs maps use skins from a folder called "dtt"
Make sure you have the dtt folder in your missions folder in both TGE and in TT
ie ~/game /data/missions/dtt

@blitzer - np

Wait, I need one more thing and I understand this whole modding concept. When ever I set a floor of say...40 it never shows up. But when I go in to the background the fog is there instead. Any ideas?

Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 12:05:35 PM

Try setting the fog level at something like 110. The "fog in the background" is because of your mission area ending.

Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 12:23:09 PM

New problem now.......everytime I create a map and make it one fo my maps I play on, im jsut floating in mid-air. Im using dash maps......any soultions to the problem?

Make absolutely sure that the terrain file in the terrain datablock of the.mis file is exactly the same as the name of your terrain file.

Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 7:34:15 PM

I could give u my part of the terrain block Vig.
