Forums Index >> Skins >> Skins, Radars, Aimers, anything to improve my game

Page : <1> :

Hey guys,

Just been doing some major renovation lately and have installed many things for TT. (Ignore script, modwiz, etc.)

Was wondering if there are any skins, aimers, or radars that will help me improve my game? Dont focus on it being pretty, just so that it helps get you better.

A picture of the item first would be great

Thanks a bunch

Go here for radars

Dr. Saw has some high visability skins and an aimer here.

I also made some aimers that might help a little %)

Only lethal on days that end with "Y"

Install a High-Visibility skin. Some of mine, Dr Sawbones' and Rabban's skins are pretty visible and look good too. Master TMO has a high-vis skin set somewhere.

Install the 2x or 3x radar.

I use LilAlienD's aimer set. They work well.

LilAlien's site with 2x and 3x radar.

OK, I'm being stupid.

How do I put these in? The files arent where they should be. Game/data/shapes..

Aimers and tank skins go in game/data/shapes/tanks

Radar goes in game/client/ui (I think)

I have two sets of good aimers - in the Beelze |Bot| and Otherland skin sets.

The Beelze |Bot| skin set can also be used for better visibility if you don't mind everything being shades of black and white (it's what I use for PSL games).

My Hi-Visibility tank skins are a separate set, and mostly rely on using bright colors - they don't look particularly nice otherwise (hot pink heavy tanks??? %) )

Question:

Whats with my 3x radar?

P.S.

Same thing happens with the spider web 3x. 2x works fine, same height as this one but crystal clear.

Thanks a bunch lonewolf! Need a little help though.

Ok, the main.cs you sent me is in the think tanks folder next to the folders "prduct" and "ui"

The original main.cs I had is in its same place, inside the product folder

The updates from the new main.cs are not working, and when I try to open TT it says "failed to open main.cs" then it says "failed to initialize game, shutting down"

Am I doing something wrong?

Did you put in the script?

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 2:44:06 PM

Ok, now TT just doesnt work when I double click it

Lone, if you could email me again telling me where to put the main.cs you gave me and what format to save it in that would be great

I am reinstalling TT and not downloading anything until you send me the email so I can start fresh.

Thanks :)

Awaiting the email,

Tank

Can't thank you enough wolf. Got all the stuff I need, although I can't edit my main.cs because it always changes format when Im done. This has been with me since I joined TT. Oh well

Thanks a lot wolf, Im getting a lot of my own customized stuff now.

I owe ya one ;)

Tankster,

Whenever I edit my main.cs I always get the "text-only message". Just edit it and just say yes to all the messages and it should save. I think those messages regard the fact it has to be a certain format, which it should turn everything you typed into the same format as the whole document.
