In any case, BOOOOOOO on cliffhangers. Cheap tactic. I especially hate it in survivor.
The best way to handle them is to :
First try to explain why its not good practice, second....simply ignore them, don't chase down the cliff after them. Maybe they will get the hint. And finally if they become regular players on the server and continue hanging, kicking may be necessay. Its a good idea here to at least explain to newer players why it is wrong before you kick.
Just my 2 cents ,, and thats how I handle them.

If somebody is cliff hanging I just back off and keep my eye on them. I think its a cheap tatic like camping.

I don't like habitual cliff hangers, but do see the sense in doing it if someone's smoking badly, has the scrum, and can't out run the pack. Simply put, I think as a survival tactic, and not a cheaters tactic is exceptable to me. In the example mentioned, I wouldn't see it happening too often though. Only in desparation when death is the only alternative, and as a means of escape. That means the indie should be moving and only using the cliff as cover while running, until opportunity affords returning to topside, as he would in using any other landscape, like trees/rocks, etc. But again, it should only be out of desparation that it's used. Not as the mainstay. It should be pretty obvious to all if it's inocent or not. My 2% as well. :)

Oh, I kinda like working with another killer to root out those hanging ticks:)
Kind of a fun diversion in BM
'Hanging is frowned upon though.
Don't think it's nearly as obnoxious as doing it with the scrum in a scrum game or diving with the scrum. We all fall off now and then. Just MHO.

Hi All,
I am curious as to what is the general concensus when it comes to cliff hanging. Is it something that you tolerate? Or is it something that you loath and hate seeing? I am referring to battlemode, but feedback from the scrummers is always welcome.
