When you open ports in your router's firewall to host a dedicated server for TT be aware that it's only for one computer.

In order to host dedicated servers from more than one computer at a time you have to open ports specific to each computer.

Example:
open ports 28000-28002 for computer A and
open ports 28003-28005 for computer B

TT will try to use whatever port is specified in the resources/game/server/prefs.cs and/or resources/game/client/prefs.cs file. If you want to host from computer B you will have to specify 28003, 28004, or 28005.

[edit] These instructions are for the D-Link router brand. Your experience may vary.

*sigh* I've said this many times and I'll say it again...
Why did you put another forum here when you already put one up in the General section?

All routers work basically the same way. It has to know where to send the packets.

The port forwarding page says:

"send all incoming requests from port 28000 to 192.168.1.2"

NOTE: each sever you run after that will be 28001, etc, and your local ip may vary, also UDP is used as a protocol not just TCP
