OK I GOT A MAJOR PROBLEM!!!!!

My dad bought me STAR WARS-REPUBLIC COMMANDO for 48$ today and after waiting 40 minutes to install it I finaly started playing it but when I turned it on IT SAID I NEEDED FLIPING PIXEL SHADER 1.1!!!!!!! XO XO XO

I DONT KNOW HOW TO FLIPING GET IT AND ALL THE INFO I GOT WAS THAT I NEED A FLIPPING 200$ GRAPHICS CARD!!!!

Does anyone know how to get it online for free?

I WANT TO GET IT AND IF I DONT GET ANSWERS IN A MONTH IL ACTUALY SWEAR!!!

1. Its flipping not FLIPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111
2. Return the game
3. Read the manual
4. Swap 2 and 3

Yep. You need a $200 graphics card. I bought the nVidia Geforce FX 6600GT for a little under $180 dollars. It's a great card and it supports Pixel Shader.

Can you get external graphic cards for a laptop- say, an Inspiron 2500? Don't laugh, I upgraded it with my Bar Mitzvah money.

Hey DJ
It sounds like your PC is probably dirty inside
If it gets clogged with dust etc it will overheat
And the safety feature in BIOS shuts down the computer before it frys
Buy a can of compressed air and pop the side cover
Make sure you blow out the Heatsink and CPU fan

Meh. The card I found is actually just a multi display card for connecting lots of monitors.
