It's your ISP (Internet Service Provider). LONEWOLF, and even me had this problem many times. It will get fixed by a day or two.

If you notify them of the problem it would help them to isolate
the bad router or switch. And facilitate a quicker repair
Ok....
It came on so sudden and about 3 hours later the (ping) went down to 250 and now its back down in the 30's for shockwave servers..... And close to normal..... It seems to fix its self.. XD Ty

I have verizon for my T1 and it goes out every time it rains....

When I join any server (shockwave, mod, mm) my lag is terrible. Every server has a lag of 450-550. Its crazy. What could of happen. It was sudden too. I have no idea why or how it happened? My internet browswer is working fine and up to speed. Its crazy stuff... Thanks for looking :S
