The Challenge is to create a skin based on a theme I (DrSawBones) will give you. All skinners will use the same theme. When you're done, you email your finished skin to the "referee". At the end of the time limit, the ref will post all the skins at the same time for voting. You may submit more than one entry.

Submission Rules:
1. Subject title on email must read, "Skin Challenge #2"
2. Email must include the name of your skin design.
3. Email must also include your PTT or TT name.
4. Include preview pictures - these will be used in the voting. Must not have name in picture any where please.

Voting:
Each skin will be named by it's Tank skin name, given to it by the artist. The Referee will post the previews of each skin as provided by the artist, along with the name of the skin. The artist's name will be withheld. All votes will be collected in this thread. Each person will be allowed one vote - the Referee will ensure that no one uses aliases to place multiple votes. The Referee may not vote. The winner will be the creator of the skin that collected the most votes. In case of a tie, the Referee will cast the deciding vote.

Prize:
The Winner of the Advanced category will get to choose the theme for Skin Challenge #3

Well, now I wish I had made mine after all, just to add a little variety. I wasn't thinking about firecrackers at all, though all three skins are very nice. Oh well, maybe next time.

So, when does the voting begin? It might be nice to place all qualifying skins into the first post so they show up on every page.

NOTE: I took my own advice and copied the tanks to the header to they would show up on subsequent pages, knowing LW would still had editing control if necessary.

Fireworks Launcher (AKA Crappy Skin #1), Great job racer! I really like the texture and the all around "Hi-Tech" look of the tank.
It's definetly the best skin I've seen in months. (The one before this was also your's, The CA2) :)

There is somthing about the M5 that appeals to me, so go with the tank tank!

I'm thinking I'm going with US ARMY M5 - Looks like a real 'tank'.

I spoke to Dr Sawbones and she set me straight. So I've moved all the skins up and cleaned up the thread in hopes of getting this thing back in track.

Lol I didnt actually mean for that crappy skin to go IN THE CONTEST! :P it was meant for idea suggestion for others. Oh well. ;)

You actually have a nice skin there, I have not seen any other army looking skin that is better. I made a set of treads that would just set that skin off. Get them from my skin sets and see what ya think.

Why thank yoyu, GQ, I added a flag on the side instead, made it look a little better. My style is making it look clean a lot of good skins can be ruined by simply not knowing where to stop. I dont really like the '76 skin because all the images look too crowded (no offence to the creator).

I''m gonna have to vote Preloaded as well, for being more visually impressive. 1776 is a close second for it's well-engineered color placements, but it does wind up being too chaotic.

EDIT: The 1776 is the closest to what my skin concept would have been. I was going to go with a "Don't Tread On Me" skin for the light.
