I just wanted to give you guys a heads up, I got mail from hypernia today informing me that the new server is being installed today. Once they have it set up on their end I dont think it will take me too long to get CTF and Survivor set up on it.

CTF requires both scrumming at battlemode ability, which is why I like it best. You must be a more complete player, IMO.

And teamwork...

It requires a lot of teamwork. If I am able to, I might join in the next CTF season as well. Timing may be a problem though.

It's funny, when I had CTF running a lot of people said survivor was the better game, now that survivor is up people pine for CTF. I guess the only reasonable solution is to run both ;) I prefer CTF myself...

Dan, you will always get those like FF who love Survivor. Not taking anything away from it, but it requires much less subtlety and skills than CTF. CTF seems to be a perfect combination of the 2 main game types, where as survivor is sorta like BM on steroids.

I guess the difference is that most of those who prefer CTF are more mature, and so we don't whine and moan as much as the survivor lovers. ;) Sorry, but it's true.

Dan, me thank you very much for all that you have done to bring CTF back into the fold. If this means no lag on CTF and players playing to boot, campas doin' alot less campin. ;)

CTF Rocks! I must support it, I can't see how anyone doesn't like it. Oh well.

I think people like FF like Survivor more because it hardly requires any tactics and anyone can win it, whereas CTF is ALL tactics, and if you (an your team) are good, you'll always win.

Here comes the new guy with a dumb question, but what is CTF and how does one become involved in CTF?

I'm going to vote for CTF! Its always a more intense shoot out than TBML and no one whines when I use my gun like they do in scrum.

CTF rules!! Survivor is fun but as everyone knows (except FF) CTF is the best of both worlds..team play, scrum play, & battlemode :P

I got word that new new server is set up, I've got the password and everything to set it up but I've got a ton of contract work to do. I'll try and get something running on it about 12:00am PST. (GMT -8)

Is weak and it only holds 9 players. Is there any way you can help or give a trusted Moderator the pass so we can run CTF League again ? B)
