I don't really wish to start a new thread, but I at least want a chance to defend myself. I am not enigma, and frankly, I am insulted and I am wondering why I would ever be compared to such a person. Racer what in the world leads you to believe that I would do some of the things that enigma has done? I may not be the most well liked person but there are a lot of lines that I simply will not cross. I have never impostered anyone (unless by total accident that I didn't know someone had that name) and I likely never will.

I do believe that I have one or more imposters who are trying to tarnish my reputation. I tend to try to get rid of the nuisances and so it only makes sense that they would try to imposter me in retalliation. When I was new to this game I rubbed a few people the wrong way because I was a very aggressive player, but I believe that now most vets respect me and have no problems with me. My stance on camping is also well known and I stand by it. I am a hard person to get to know, but those who do know me usually like me. I know there are those out there that still dislike me, heck, I can't please everyone, but if you have issues with me, say so. I am an adult. I can take it. I honestly welcome any constructive criticism that anyone is willing to throw at me.

Also, I have been using my real name and not aliases 90% of the time since I came out of retirement so if someone is using any of my old aliases then it's virtually guaranteed to not be me because I don't use any of them anymore. I will generally be playing as myself from now on, so that should deter most of the imposters.

So, I have said my piece, I am not enigma, and if I am rubbing anyone the wrong way, I would like to know about it. Feel free to post it here, I have nothing to hide. If anyone wants to give me any tips and pointers about my game I welcome those too.

Well for starters I have no idea if I should say welcome back or get the heck out. Based on our past "encounters" probably the 2nd 1. And just 2 let you know, you're gonna be alone in the anti-camper bit now...nobody except demos and a few others actually clear the goal (which IS appreciated most of the time).
and BTW...i quit camping.

So, in order to get off on a good foot and possibly start over....Hey Demo welcome back!

I can vouch for Demolition's character since I feel we've become good friends. I would be shocked if he ever did anything close to the things that someone like Enigma does. So please don't accuse Demolition anymore, Racer. As MM said, you didn't appreciate being linked to FUBAR, just think how much worse it feels for Demolition being linked to someone like Enigma. I mean, FUBAR is an arrogant jerk, but Enigma is a whole other level of troll. I think he deserves an apology from you.

I've been around for a while in TBM but am fairly new the world of Scrum. As far as I am concerned it's a fresh start as I have not had any encounters with you. Hopefully as an "adult" (which I am as well) we can conduct ourselves accordingly. We are all competitive and want to win, but we should still be respectful. Although these are only cartoon tanks, there are real people at the other end. I'm not exactly sure what your stance is on camping, and I'm not even sure if my stance is correct but this is how I feel. From what I've seen in the games I play is that, I get fired upon any time I'm in front of someone. If I'm chasing the scrum people are unloading their rounds into me. If I'm trying to guard the goal people are trying to clear me out. If I just scored after a nice round, some people will still unload 4 or 5 rounds after everyone starts to chase the newly spawned scrum. I never just sit in the goal, which is just stupid. If the scrum and the rest of the play is across the field and I spawn in the goal opposite the play. I will not travel all the way across when the play is coming my way. What I will do is move towards the play and defend the goal as we move backwards. As I have stated, before I am still learning Scrum and feel my best weapon in Scrum is my battlemoding. I will use it as if I have nothing else until I have the driving skills that make me less reliant on BM'n. If I see someone just sitting in the goal, I guarantee I'm taking them out, or at least trying.

Anyway that's how I see it at this time.

So, Demolition, to get back to your topic. Anyone can post whatever they want to in this forum. It really doesn't mean a hill of beans. What matters is what you actually do when you’re in the game. So we'll just have to see. Again I have not had any issues with you so far and I hope it stays that way. Time will tell. Let’s play hard and have some fun. See you on the field.

Thanks to everyone who stuck up for me...Mystery man, paisano, PiP. I think it's crystal clear now that I am not enigma.

Also, thanks to all the kind words tonight in team scrum. (BTW I really liked that map!). I know my game has gotten better but it's nice to hear that others take notice too. I really started zoning out after the first game or so, and I was playing awfully, as well as chatting a bit too much. I need to get some sleep. Finals are finally over so I can play more TT now.
