I saw -Rook- in one of my servers with a 1116 ms ping
How does the game even function like that?
if I c 400 ping and attempt to join the game loses connection

Highest one what I remember for myself is 750ms but I doubt its the highest one.
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
I've actually had over 3000 in a thunderstorm. My ping can get quite deadly, but my internet never stops trying.

Leech, thats so much lag you wouldnt be able to check your ping. You would be outta the game for packet loss with a ping that high
THat really is BS, cause if someone's ping was over 4000, then that person would lagg out and drive into the abyss and then everyone would be booted from the server.
The highest I've had is 784, I couldn't move at that point.

BTW creamer, not true, I had 4512 in dash's server for about 9 seconds straight once. It was on the canal level with KBC, MajorPain, Karina, and I think get some.

Hell, the ping impact really depends on the type of computer you have. If you have a computer with very high RAM, then you wont lag out as easily. Mostly around 4000 ping is an automatic lag-out, but its probably the fact that you have a 7-month old e-mac. Mine may be a windows ME, but its 5 years old and Windows 98 is better than ME. You really should start looking at the latest XP's. While I was on my trip, I was playing on my mom's XP laptop in (MOD)ASH SCRUM and I had a ping of nearly 700, yet no freeze frames.
( I have dsl and it mostly has a ping of 100, but my computer seems to have lag ALL the time eh HellRaiser?)

My highest was only bout 673... :'(
I never could quite move much with that massive lag I had. Kept bouncing around in the same spot..mid-air.
Still don't know why I had the lag, though. I've never had lag that bad. I have a cable modem and only a year old computer.

The highest ping I've ever had was today in the same server as Billy and Zeonic. My ping rose to about 22XX.

My own ping has never been over around 100 that I know of, but thats because I have DSL :P.

The most lag I've had was around 700-1000 TOPS! Nothing higher unless its a hurricane hardly likely to happen in my area

Whats the highest ping youve seen? For me it was a 1200 ping XD on a dsl speed 1.0mbps its cause that person was unzipping a very large file with winrar ,after that it was a 650 ping on a T1 connection this T1 was 4.20mbps and had a 650 ping ! And there where only 3 people in that server ;)
