Tanty has taken it one step too far and shown racism on TT.

And to think TankGirl, we tried to reason with him and even complimented him on his "intellegence." I guess that some people just do not want to change for the better to help themselves and the people around them...such a shame.

Hey Maverick, thanks for posting this. I also took a screen shot of that, but sadly I don't know how to post pics. I second the motin that Maverick presented there and that is that Tanty be banned. I am one of those people that wants to change and has, correct Maverick?

I third the moition people like taht should not even be allows in any games! They should put up a rule of no swearing or racism remarks for demos and make them agree to the contract!

But for people who bought it I tink you just have to deal iwth it. They bought the game you cant just bann them beacue they spend 20 dollers on a game and play it there way by swearing. But if they ahcker or do illeagl stuff. Still I think swearing is bad and racism remarks

I don't know about banning someone from the TT servers. I think this is an action at BraveTree's level. Perhaps they could forfeit the user's 'key' (serial #) from their database, thus preventing the user to join online... But I don't know. The PTT and the TT servers are 2 different worlds.
There is a PTT member named PokeMalo and he's from BraveTree. If he chances to read this post maybe he will give us a feedback on this.
But if 'Tanty' (I'm not sure if I've met this playter - or if he is just another moronic incarnation - like avatars) is a Demo, I really don't know what can be done against this...

Hey all.. I think this is pretty lame.. But we can't ban someone.. (let alone someone who is a demo) from this version of ThinkTanks. The game just does not work that way.

I know it sucks, I know it is lame.. Best way to deal with it is just to leave the server and hope this griefer goes away. What they want is attention, and if you give it to them, they will stay.. If you don't they will leave.

If he is not a demo, and you can find out who he really is.. We can do what we can't to get the account yanked.. But we don't have the tools to find out who it actually is.

Note again that this is a problem that we cannot solve right now as the game just does not work that way. We don't actively track ever user and demo and don't force authentication or track them all. Doing all of this back end tracking and authentication takes a bit of resources.. Resources we did not have on ThinkTanks when we made it.

On the servers.. We don't even have access to the shockwave servers. Even if we had tools to make it easy to ban this fool, we don't have access to the actual hardware that is running the servers. In time, we hope to change this.. For now, it is something we all must deal with.

Thank you again for what you have done over all in TT. It will be ok I believe if we all get the ignore scrpit then it will be simple to deal with this low-life scum. Here is the location of the ignore scrip.Ignore Script Also please tell everybody ,that you encounter, about the ignore script. Yes it does work for Demo's, I am a demo and it works fine for me. With this and also banning him from our mods and sever we create, it will be simple to not be bothered by this pest. Please do take the directions I have given and follow them. This way we wont have to worrie about this menase. Thank you all.

another thing you can do is turn in your demo card and buy the game. The more money Bravetree gets the more they can grow and implement the aforementioned rescources.

thx again for responding to a growing concern in the community...even if its beyond your capability to affect change at this point. It shows you care and that sometimes is all that is needed. That and the ignore script. ;)
