The weirdest thing has started happening the last few times that I have Alt-Tab'bed off of then back onto TT: when I come back to the game my view has shifted 90 degrees around my tank, both left and right at various times (some screenshots follow). Note that the top of my radar is still oriented to the front of my tank, which is off to the left or right of my viewscreen, and that other tanks, the goal, etcetera in the background are on the right or left side of my radar. Really trippy and kinda fun (for a few minutes)! The only thing that gets my back to a normal rear view is to shut down TT then start it up again.

The first time it happened several days ago; 90 degree left-hand view rotation.

Ouchouchouch!; 90 degree left-hand view rotation. Very cool that I could see my assailants!

After alt-tab'bing again, the view shifted to 90 degree right-hand view rotation.

"You'll put yer eye out...!"; 90 degree left-hand view rotation.

It happened again this evening; 90 degree left-hand view rotation.

Any ideas on how this happens? I would hate for this to happen while playing a serious game (although I probably wouldn't tab-off of the game then, would I!).

Well, I just press TAB again and it rotates right back! And when I restart the game (in 90 degree rotate mode), the game is still in rotated mode! Anyway, with the ability to switch right back to normal view, it's an awesome feature! BraveTree used it to take screenshots for ThinkTanks (when it was still beta).

Hiya G,

I had the same thing happen and I could not figure out what happened. I even quit the game and rejoined. Good to know it is a feature, not a bug.
