But that signature graphic is bigger than most posts, and this is one of the main reasons I am not adding that functionality to the site. Reading the forums would be like walking back and forth down the same coridoor in a digital arts museum trying to spot some information signs and something to read.

Maybe you could restrict the posting of signatures unless the post has met some requirements such as 3-5 lines of text, or something like that.
