Well, about a month ago, a random gap apeared in my teeth. I blamed the braces, but my orthodontist said it was my frontom... Or whatever it is called... That little bit of gun at the front of your mouth (sorry, can't think staight, will find out later on in post). He said "This will smart a little, and preceeded to take plyers to my two front teeth and closed the 2 mm gap in under five seconds. Ok, so it was over, right? Nein. He then told me I needed to get a fronectomy, and untill then he couldn't do anything with my braces (which were SUPPOSED to come off in june.) He then ties my teeth together with wire. Damn that is hard to floss now..
So, anyway, today, I went to the oral surgeon at 8:30. He explained the fronectomy process (drugging you up till you see a blue peice of paper instead of a knife, sticking the formentioned knife into your mouth, edging your teeth and then, quite literally, sawing off your skin), and then stuck the dreaded needle of novacane in my mouth. It took the frikin thing 20 MINUTES to numb me completely, all the while he is poking me with the damn... Crap, can't remember what it is called... Little hooky thing with a really sharp point... Yeah. Finally, it numbed all the way up to my nose and back of my throat. He opened my mouth, pulled out the scappel and started edging. To my horrid suprise, I found that it was not, however completely numb, and I could feel the knife diging into my gum. Granit, it didn't hurt, but when you can hear and feel the crunching and grinding of your teeth against a knife, it gets kinda weird. And to top it all off, his hand slipped a little bit, hit a small pocket of blood, and it squirted a couple little droplets of da red stuff right onto the rim of my glasses. I close my eyes...
Soon it was all over, and just because he felt sorry for me, he gave me a big serving of lidocaine (at least, I think)... Y'know, the stuff that, as he putit "calms your mouth" for 8-10 hours. Well, let me tell you... That stuff does WAY more than calm your mouth... I can't frikin walk strait. It toook me about half an hour to write this post, and I am going to go put my ice pack pack on my mouth now... WEEEEEEEEEEEE...

%)

Did the fact that you took drugs yesterday intensify the effect? :P
Oh great, first an ASM day, then you involuntarily donate blood to the carpet... ;)

Laughter is supposed to help heal...or does it just give you short term memory loss? I don't remember...

Okay, if I were completely tactless and unsympathetic, I would say "Sweet!" (as in, interesting)

But I'm not (says me).
So: I will be praying for you to get better.

Nope... Those are my front, top teeth. If you look carefully, you will be bale to see where he ran the knife along them, and the where he slipped a bit too...
