I was so close in December to just fading away, but I couldn't make the final break. I played a game during the holidays under an alias, but that was the first since TBML 5.0 ended. Honestly, I'm not that into playing as I once was and my posting has really fallen off, but I'm still interested in some skinning, modeling and mods.

So why don't I just leave and follow other pursuits? If I think about it, I think I'm just too bored to leave.

I like to wind down in front of TT at night, after my work day is done (even though I end up being 'wind up'!).
PTT I like to look at during daytime - it breaks the working day with some humorous posts :P
My life is full, TT is a hobby. I come I go; every video games I played at one point 'die'. This one still has breath in it - IT'S ALIVE! %)

Where else can you drop in, read posts ranging from ridiculous to esoteric, and always be welcome to come by? This place (and the game) allow you to be a fool, a saint, a sinner, and a philosopher all in one location.

You come by because you love it- and know we do too... What a way to wind up a day, or to cap off a week.

I guess you have to decide what you want to do. I left. While I still check the forums every couple days and that's mostly habit. Truth be told, the distance between checking is growing... I didn't look most of december. Most of the time there is nothing much to read anyway.

Get out, do other things, if you miss it you'll come back. If not, oh well...

I left TT for a while once I got Madden 04, but I came back and I don't intend to leave permanently. I might have to leave for exams in HS and college, but you are my people (not in a possessive way, just as MY COMMUNITY is not really "your" exclusive community), just like some of you Yanks might consider all Americans your people.

Id like to get into modding and scripting also but just don't seem to have the attention span. Maybe I'll have to look into it a bit more seriously...

Hugo and Sil hit on something. I do use PTT to break up my day and entertain myself. I guess its a good thing that the quality of posts have gone down since I used to spend lots of time posting here. I also think I've changed in how I respond to posts are well and don't feel a need to respond to everything or defend myself/my views are much as I once did.

And I have found new ways to interest myself in TT just by trying to discover ways to make it better for everyone else. Even now I'm on the threshold of developing new SUPERPOWERS THAT WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD!!! _{Hope I didn't over sell that.} ;)
