For everyone else, WoW = World of Warcraft.

Yup, it does cost you money...I think it was $10 or so a month to play online to maintain the servers, but I'm not completely sure on that. I do know that it does cost you something, though!

Lagginess depends on your kind of connection and computer, ex if you have a 56k connection and a Pentium II 400 MHz with 32 Megabytes of video memory, then yes, your game will make you take one step every 10 seconds. I know this as a fact. :P

WoW is reviewing to be a very cool game, my friend recently got it and he says that it is one of the best games that he has played this year...but we both agree that the best game of all time is Half-Life 2. :)

I left TT for this game it's great when it actually works. The price is $50 and the CE was around $70 I believe but they only produced about 250,000 of those I think and they've all been sold so the only way to get it would be on eBay or something like that. EB Games had "found" a shipment in January and charged $150 for it. They sold out within a week if I remember correctly. After you have the actual discs it costs $15 dollars a month, a little more with tax in certain areas. The only big problem with the game is that the high population servers are constantly taken down for emergency maintenance, so I would recommend choosing a low population server. They just got new hardware for the servers and installed them yesterday or Thursday, not quite sure. Sure hope this helped.

Where do you get the free month

Sunday, March 13, 2005 at 8:04:06 AM

It comes with the game, so it's not REALLY free since you still have to pay for the actual discs.

@ Eagle

No you can choose more than one server but I'm saying that if you really want to be able you're character at all times and not have to get the "This server is down for emergency maintenance" message then I would recommend choosing a low population server.
