I've been playing TT's for about 6 months and decided to join PTT. This is a great game and have enjoyed playing games with many of you; too many to mention - thanks. I look forward to the next game.

Thanks all for such a warm welcome. One reason I love this game - the large majority are very courteous and skilled players, which makes for a great gaming community. The other is that this has got to be one of the most addictive games ever..play once and you're hooked for life...oh well.

Well it doesnt do like that. A lot of people lets who where hooked. Hope tt2 is more efficiant at hooking people.

Thanks again to all for the warm welcome. Answers to a couple of the questions posted:

1. I am in CST and usually play after 9:00 or 9:30, after the bunchkins are in bed.

2. I am a fan of scrum. I play indie scrum more than team, out of courtesy to the team players, because I need to bolt at times on short notice due to kids in part 1 not going to bed. But I love both team scum and team BM when the time is right.

The PTT Forums are a remarkable place full of veterans, moderators, admins, and newbies like you struggling to get by. This guide will help you get respect and become an integral part of PTT.
PART 1: Rules
-Don't flame. Flaming is bashing other members because of a disagreement, arrogance, or strong opinions. Sometimes, users keep flaming each other over the last flame, and a flame war starts.
-Don't swear. That goes without saying.
-DON'T PANIC.
-Respect other people's opinions.
PART 2: Armies
This is where a lot of newbies get confused. An army (aka clan) is a group of members that fight together in team games, can have wars with other clans, and even start their own.
The best clans, IMO, are as follows:
-UF, Unstoppable Force
-SA, Shadow's Army
-ST, Scytheman (aka Gweoraecyn)'s Team
-Ex, Extreme Tanks (now dead)
My advice, join one and stick with it. Do NOT try to start your own, unless you are prepared for a LOT of bashing by other members.
PART 3: Learning more.
-Learn from others' mistakes.
-Learn from your OWN mistakes.
-Take advice from members you can trust.
