Well I wear briefs,sleep naked(no peeking),and I sleep on my back most of the time, the rest of the time on my stomach! B)

I have never been much of a fan of underwear. My mom told me that I never wanted to wear em. So I mostly go without undies all together, unless I am wearing a short skirt.

Sleeping in clothes is a sin. Why sleep in clothes? Never made sense to me.

I sleep on my both sides, stomach and back, pretty much equally. I would say that when I first go to bed, I always start on my side. I wonder what all that says about my personality?.

LETS ADD A QUESTION: Are you a snuggler in bed?

I ALWAYS have to have some part of my body touching the person in bed with me, even if it is just a foot making contact. I crawl into bed and inch my way backwards toward Caryn and as soon as I make contact, I am ready to fall asleep.

There, anonymity has caused me to share more with the world than most of my immediate friends even know.... Life is very strange eh?

Yeah its boxers for my, the stretchy sporty kind without that little trap door in front. Feels better in dress pants. I never liked the basic white baggy Stanfields. Too many traumatizing images.

I sleep nekked in a semi-prone position (on side with the top knee up) I love to snuggle but get too hot and sweaty.

Well, many years back I was a brief man, but switched to boxers and haven't looked back.

Don't wear jammies (those are for kiddies, no?) Just wear my boxers usually, unless it's the frigid dead of winter, then I wear a T-shirt and light sweat style bottoms.

ALWAYS sleep on my side, or at least when I remember to. If I sleep on my back, I snore :S But my wife lets me know when that happens, don't you worry. :P

@pai- what do they say about it reflecting personality? I've never heard that.

Boxer Briefs :) I strictly sleep on my side and just in boxers. I like holding my girl while going to bed, but after falling asleep I can't do it yet keep a leg crossed over hers of foot touching, something. In the mornings I don't mind though.

I do not like getting 'too hot and sweaty'.... While actually sleeping ofcourss ;)

The only thing you need on to sleep warm in winter is a pair of socks! Any things else justs gets sweaty and makes you colder.

I vary between briefs, sport boxers and a few pairs of "fancy pants". I prefer the sport boxers since they're not too binding. I usually sleep in them, sometimes with shorts. I usually wear a t-shirt. In the winter I wear pajama bottoms with a T. I prefer to be clothed to a degree since I tend to sweat when against myself or in case I need to get up for some reason. Commando tends to make me..."anxious". ;)

I usually start out sleeping on one side and end up on the other. I also tend to move while asleep onto my back with ankles crossed and my arms behind my head. This is curious since I've heard my dad does this and I've observed it in my son.

I can only snuggle while I'm awake. I can't sleep with any contact with another. The wife and I use twin beds since she's a mover and I tend to be very still and we can't seem to share the blankets, but the beds are pushed together. We tried a king sized bed once, but it was just too big.

I wore boxers exclusively when I lived in Phoenix. Heat management is a big issue there. "Let 'em hang free" was my motto there.

I alternate between boxer briefs(that go part way down the thigh) and boxers here in Iowa according to temperature. I absolutely can't stand any kind of seam in my groin. Probably some latent memory of a wedgie. :S

Used to be brief man until I tried boxers and loved having my boys free! (As Kramer said on Seinfeld when he tried boxers)!

They said it was better for fertility, not that I needed any more help, being Italian with a sperm count of over 100 million bad boys (again, TMI!)

Got two boys after the switch, so it must've helped some.

Love sleeping nekked and swimming in the raw too (we have a private pool with night lights)!

However, in an effert to reduce potential psychiatric bills for my sons, I don't walk around commando as much anymore.

Even though we have a California style bathroom with walk in shower and no doors!

I start sleep on my back, work to the side...then flip over like an OMelette (capitalized for our friend OM).

I also like flipping the pillows for the cool side....ahhhh

Italians are very touchy feely and all hands...so yes, a major snuggler here (and sometimes groper).

Sadly, whenever I am touched in bed, my instincts are to go into Casanova mode and begin the process of Amore!

It's a very bad habit...as women love to "just snuggle" or "just makeout" without it always leading to something.

I guess all men are like that, right? I mean, I am ready sevens days a week, which is a curse I tell ya! A curse!

LOL! Thanks for the link Pai. Interesting article. Though I'm confused about how so many people said they sleep in that "log" position. How can anyone sleep like that?! It looks so damn uncomfortable.

I'd actually prefer sleeping on my back, but the snoring is too intense, not to mention the fact that I believe I have a slight case of sleep apnea, so I can't do it, unless I don't mind waking up multiple times during the night from obstructed breathing.

Colored briefs if I'm doing sports (biking, paintball, etc). Boxers otherwise.

I'm most comfortable sleeping on my back, but I sleep on my side as much as possible to avoid snoring for the sake of my wife.

Big-time snuggler/groper. A man can snuggle without wanting to take it further: he just has to be exhausted already (dang kid is wearing me out). However, one can never be too tired for a nice feel.

Huh, there is quite a difference between "starfish" and "soldier" evaluations, yet I switch between those. I just like to move my arms about I guess. Otherwise, it's the "yearner" when I'm trying to abstain from snoring.

Oh, and I wear boxers to bed. I have to wear SOMETHING to bed or it would be too cold to ever get out of bed in the morning!

In boxers, sometime in all my cloths if I've had a ruogh day and go staight to bed.

I sleep in all those ways. It's just whatever comes naturally to me that night.

Boxers 90% of the time, briefs the rest. Commando style is dangerous for blokes unless wearing button fly pants - not to mention the fact that it can be very painful if you tackle isnt neatly packed away when you zip up. X/

Briefs, I have tried boxers but they just get too wild in there, and erect monuments and wonders. I sleep on my stomach with the fan on, even if its winter. And yes I sleep in my jammiies, maybe cuz im still in early twenties.

Boxers. And I warm natured I guess so I usually sleep in boxers with a thin sheet on with the fan on full blast. If it were up to me my family would save a lot of money in winter since I love it cold and hate it hot. And I usually sleep on my back. I never had anyone in bed with me but I think im a snuggler._{snuggle snuggle}

Baklava... I am with you. I have to run a fan in the room on high with only a sheet on top of me. That is the BEST way to sleep. I am addicted to the fan though, I can't even sleep without it now.

Hmm seems its my turn to post..lets see I wear the boxers only way to go in my opinion nice and roomy and I sleep in my boxers and I sleep usually regardeless of the season with the fan (I got this special fan that is mega high powered) on high power usually causing a kleenex box or book to come off my bedside "chair". I usually sleep on my side but I dont know for sure seeing how I'm alseep ;)

Hmmm...

I'm briefs myself, not really a choice, just what I grew up with. I can say that boxers are the popular form of underwear for guys at my school (we change for P.E, it's not like I took a survey or anything), and guys with tighty-whiteys have to be quick at changing...

I do sleep with pajamas to a certain extent, but they aren't 'jammies', just special sleep clothes which are cool, light, comfy and flame retardant (in case someone tries to barbecue me in my bed). I wouldn't want to sleep completely naked myself.. I would feel too vulnerable. If my house catches on fire or there's an earthquake, I would prefer not to have to run screaming to the street without a thread on. Also, I still share a room with my 1 & 3/4 years younger sister, which is an even bigger incentive... Lol

As for sleeping positions, I sleep on my side mostly. My bed is actually a futon couch, set in the up position, so I sort of sleep on this large ledge of a bed. I prop myself against the corner so that I'm kind of on my back and on my side. I like being able to look out the window as I fall asleep.

Oh, and I always prop my head up with two or more pillows. Can't stand having my head lower than my feet, it makes me feel like I'm sliding down a slide head first.

At thirteen I'm afraid I'm not exactly experienced enough to answer the snuggling question.. Do stuffed animals count?
