I don't know if it's possible, but this would be handy for skinners who have made multiple skins. It goes something like this:
On the tank selection screen, you could browse though all of your created skins, and where the name of the tank is displayed, it would instead name your skin. Since I can't script for beans, I thought this would be a cool idea for those people who are constantly asking for ideas. ;)

That might take some source but I could try and study it a bit.

Oh cool, I would love a script like that so I don't need to constantly replace files. :P

A completely new.dts would have to be made per skin... And I'm not sure on copying files other than text into another folder... (as we'd need to)

Well, art, if you knew how to do it... (and I dont, but know someone who can) you can edit an existing DTS file to point to whatever skin you want via script.

This has been suggested before, when you still didnt know anything about scripting... I searched for sometime arround in GG.com etc, and found out, that to do that, you NEED TO EDIT C++ code. I was telling him the only way to do it IN THINKTANKS, not any other game.

Nope, if we did it we'd use a similar system but the only thing that script does is send a message to the server.
