Yes, camping IS ok in TS. It can be a very effective strategy when used by skilled players. It can get extremely annoying when a bunch of noobs camp, but it just adds to the thrill of sliding a goal past them. XD

Its ok in indie just not full camping...

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

Its only gay when you sit in the goal. Standing near it is the way to play, lol

Also BMing is ok in TS

What is BMing?

Battlemoding/shooting players who don't have the scrum.

Oh.

But u wanna be careful who u shoot. THey may just shoot u back and they may respawn at the goal.

Anything goes in TS as long as you're not a jerk about it ;)
As for indie, don't sit around the goal. But otherwise you'll be fine. If you're coming from a spawn or something and someone blames you of camping you have three options: ignore them, explain it to them, or tell them to shutup/insult them; the latter of which I find the most amusing, especially if its some idiot XD

Camping is kosher in Team Scrum, just know that unlike indy, no one's going to just let you sit there.

I personnaly in team scrum it shoud be ok to camp. I can't remeber what site I went to but the site said differnt ways to use the tanks in scrum games and most of it was about howing to camp and with which tank :)

No camping in both modes scrum and team scrum you will get kick/banned

^ lol wow we got some noobs who need to be informed about some stuff (ronak, cole, and some others...)

Camping is considered a low tactic
Much like cliff hanging in BM
People do it but it aint sporting

Theres nothing wrong with positioning yourself near the goal and in the path
of the approaching flag carrier
But sitting in the goal is cheap and shows a lack of skill and finese

Once you really learn the game and how to work as a team then camping becomes a moot point
Ineffective and annoying......

^Ya you nailed it Roo.

I personally don't have a big problem with camping. Why? Camping may be a low tactic, but it VERY RARELY works and only like once or twice in like 5 games. And then if someone camps you can get the fun of sniping 'em. So let ppl camp. :P

Yes cmping is alright it team scrum

Saturday, December 02, 2006 at 10:06:27 AM

Camping in a heavy works, and it's fun XD

Monday, December 04, 2006 at 6:45:29 PM

^Serious? When I *used to* camp in heavies I would typically get smacked so hard by the scrum carrier that I would fly off a cliff...with the ball XD
