Well, just when it gets too foggy to fly and I start getting re-hooked on ThinkTanks, along comes the holidays to take it away!
Well, fellow TTers, I'll be utilizing some hard-earned vacation time and spending a week with my isolated parents. That's right folks, I'll be reduced to a dial-up connection through a phone-line so crappy, that any connection over 26kbs gets dropped.

Needless to say, I won't be on the battlefield unless I'm in the mood for a good slide-show. :P I might do it once just to trip everyone out as they see this crazy tank warping from hilltop to hilltop, though! In the meantime, their area is much less prone to fog, so I'll be dragging my planes along for some cold-weather flying!

So, who else out there is having to go over the mountains and through the woods to a house with no broadband or computer? What will you do to pass the time?

OM

I just had my internet connection reinstated at home after the wife and I moved. I had no home internet connection for almost a week, including last weekend. Can you "stir crazy"? :P
Now that it's back, it will be a cold day in hell before I leave home for some place that doesn't have a braodband connection. %)

Have a good trip JB. Have fun flying ze planes.

I on the other hand imported both sets of parents locally to where I have highspeed broadband, a large flatpanel, and open access to TT. The key is to be able to seperate yourself from the said parents or relatives for some playtime. I think I can outlast them though. I see myself sneaking downstairs while they fade into sleepytime in front of the TV..

Time for some Griswold family Christmas
