Not only does the camping and especially cliff diving bad but now the verbal abuse is getting out of hand. I rather enjoy using 56's ignore script. Unfortunately it is tied to the exact name. Yesterday there were 2 demos who had been playing well beyond the time limit who were swearing and abusing the chat window. When we ignored them they left and came back with another name and repeated. So it was either spend all game writing ignore commands or keep seeing chat content on the screen. Then I went battlemode on his arse. He took the scrum and somehow was invincible. U couldnt steal the scrum of kill him. I finally forced him over the cliff and he stood down there and still didnt die. He eventually left from boredom.

Most demos I encounter are regulars that change names and either just camp and cliffdive or abuse the chat window. I feel sorry for the legitamate demos that come in and get ridiculed.

Lately I see all kinds of demos in light and heavy tanks. There is another thread on this though... It is spreading.

What really sucks is that the demos can now circumvent the time limit. Usually they have to leave and then come back but now they dont for some reason.

What really ticks me off is that now demos are in team scrum as well... Dont know why they dont just buy the game....

I want to see some more servers that are demo-free(and stay that way).

I too have encountered an invincible heavy, myself and another player (can't remember who) shot him until we both ran out of ammo, while he just sat there and chatted as if nothing was happening. -This was like a week or 2 ago.
